Nice place to stay over night , doesn’t have any local shops nearby , but it is not a problem. Such as many restaurants within 10 min walk

Room Was large. Perfect for our use. Great area. Was great to use facilities next door Harvester,Hollywood Bowl and Sprinkles. I found the double bed to be a bit too high. And the bath leaked everytime after use. Staff were friendly. We used so we could go to Basildon Sporting Village.

You get discriminated for being disabled. And when you ask a question you get told you are intimidating because of your size shame on you. Your night team speak to people incorrectly and discus disabled people like they are a pain to and inconvenience

All good from me and my 2 boys who are 8 & 14, we had to stay away from home for the night as the wife was having a big birthday party for herself and we didn’t want to be stuck with 40 odd drunk females, ideally situated on the festival leisure so we went bowling first then for some food before returning to the hotel.

Very uncomfortable bed. No where near the quality of another premier inn I stayed in. Check in quick and easy. Close to amenities like restaurants, bowling and cinema (festival leisure). If they put new beds in the review would be much higher

Premier Inn needs to get it's act together. That's the second awful experience we've had staying with them and probably the last. The 'wonderful mattress' they shout about was rock hard and did our backs and necks in. The breakfast was excellent as was the service but having had no sleep it was difficult to fully appreciate them. The corner of our room hadn't been hoovered properly which was another put off. The Southend Airport Strawberry Fields PI stank of damp. We had an excellent experience in the Ipswich Central PI with a clean room and comfortable mattress. Premier Inn needs to address the inconsistency across it's hotels.

So many positives - really lovely staff at reception and breakfast; clean room with a comfy bed and good shower; and very very good breakfast (with extras like crumpets). However room is exceptionally hot. Fortunately it wasn’t too warm outside but the temperature was showing as 25 degrees in the room! There is a fan and the window opens slightly, which was enough for me in April, but this won’t cut it in the summer. Also very noisy above - lots of movement. Luckily stopped at 10:30 but I can imagine it would be a problem if guests upstairs wanted a later night. Probably just needs some refurbishment

Exceptional staff! For other reasons my wife and I had a difficult week. But the staff at this Premier were quite simply excellent. Especially Terri Priest who checked us in first 3 nights. Her support for my disabled wife was exemplary in all respects. A difficult week but made easier by the Premier Inn Festival Park, Basildon.

100% recommend this premier inn the staff Courtney Hannah & Angie give 100% there professionalism and attention to everyone's needs is outstanding, they always check to make sure everything is ok, the breakfast we had was hot tasty I would definitely recommend.
