I loved my stay here - big room and wonderful heater and also a bath - loved having that! was in a plus room that had a great coffee machine and such a comfortable and clean bed

On arrival at the hotel, I was met with this lovely lady who greeted me with a smile. She certainly made me feel welcome and I ended up chatting to her for ages. The hotel is in a great location with lots of eating places around and also free parking.However,I do feel wifi should be included in the price. The rooms are basic,clean and fresh.However,the hotelneeds updated like a lot of other travelidges. I would most definitely stay here again and would be an added bonus to meet Myra again as she was a breath of fresh air.

“I had a wonderful experience with the receptionist. She is such a lovely lady who greeted me with a warm welcome and a pleasant smile. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude made me feel very comfortable and valued. Truly a great first impression! Myra is great

The outside looks poor. But the staff are efficient, room is clean and there was a kettle with free tea and coffee. Towels and beds were clean. Surfaces clean. No soap, and bathroom light was more like a strobe. Jack was approachable friendly and knowledgeable. Jennie was personable and down to earth.

Stay at Travelodge Basildon was entirely as expected, hassle free, no frills, clean and comfortable, basic and as expected.

Hotel more than adequate, reception staff rarely at desk. However the location lets it down, from about 11pm to 1am all 3 nights we were there the car park was used by boy racers to rev their cars and blare their horns and the road to the side of the Hotel was used by the same people as a racetrack. Very noisy.

The Receptionists Jenny and Ceri. Oh where do I start. Amazing staff members, they are the funniest and most welcoming people I have met in a long long time. So that put me in the best mood, especially being in the road for 5 hours. We had an early check kn, that was nice and quick and quiet. The rooms were clean and fresh, needs a bit of an update, but the bed was so comfortable, pillows were a dream. The only downfall were boy racers in the car park, but I put my fan on and it drowned out the noise. Will be back again soon.

Do not waste Ur time going here unless better off sleeping under a bridge would probably be cleaner and quieter absolutely shocking place to stay as for the staff I thought U needed person skills to work a reception clearly not customers are a inconvenience they would rather sit on phone or talk to people outside
