Batam Hotels with Bars

I travelled with my dad for a 2 day 1 night trip to Batam. Upon arriving at the Radisson Golf and Convention Center Hotel via Grab, it took about 15 minutes from Batam Center. The reception check in was seamless, and the staff were very polite. However, the lift sensor didn't work very well when pressing the button. The amenities were good, but it would be great to include items such as a comb or cotton buds. This wasn't my first time staying here, but I hope for some upgrades of the bathroom or better cleaning, as noticed some signs of aging. Hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, which was impressive. Additionally, the massage services at the hotel were excellent.

This hotel is linked to the Grand Batam Mall. We loved it very much . We were compensated late checkout at 1pm due to room not ready at 3pm. Bedroom was clean and enough for family of 3- 2 adults and a 11 yr old child. Amenities provided also very good - there was an umbrella and a clothes hanging rack. The swimming pool was nice too. We had an enjoyable stay there.

Second time booking the Riani Beachfront.. Place is Showing signs of wear and tear. Nevertheless it's a peaceful and serene place to unwind. Be prepared for insects as the it's as close to nature as it can get. Hotel staffs are warm, welcoming and very approachable. It's not representative of the typical Batam experience (i.e. shopping) but an excellent place for retreat for those who wish to reconnect with themselves. If it helps The city centre is 30 minutes away but it is easy and cheap to book a grab (Back and forth $30 maximum) Breakfast was a delicious array of authentic Indonesian dishes.. But could do with more variety / change of menu on daily basis. Hopefully I could try the sunset BBQ Buffet offer on my next visit.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, the staff was attentive, the amenities were top-notch, and the pool area was a great place for our kids. We would definitely stay here again.

Good job for the housekeeper too. We will be back here again. Just for a small feedback I hope your management can look into it. The swimming pool and the ladder is too steep hope can change to wider for the elderly or young children to step on it. Hope can do a step in front of the ladder, elderly or disabled guests to step down from the platform of the swimming pool. The toilet most of the shower head needs to upgrade. We will inform our friends and family come over here to enjoy it. We will back here again .

Hotel is big and room is spacious. Room has two (2) shower area, one bathtub and one showing area. Staff at hotel are friendly and kind. Location is near shopping mall. Breakfast buffet is splendid, very wide selection of food variety. I will not hesitate to travel and stay back at Aston Hotel again. Thank you!

Hotel is located near Batam Centre International Ferry Terminal. Gojek trip from Mega Mall Batam Centre (opposite ferry terminal) to the hotel is about 2km and cost Rp18500 ($1.45) before discount. Hotel is newly built thus the place is well maintained as expected. Check in supposed to be after 2pm. Went there at 1pm but room wasn’t ready. They have a musollah and kids playroom which one can use while waiting for the room to be ready. We booked 3 rooms and had made request for rooms to be close to each other during the booking. Unfortunately, the hotel is not able to arrange the rooms accordingly since it is the peak period and the hotel is fully occupied. All 3 rooms are located at 3 different levels (10, 12 & 17). Since the floor require card access, it is almost impossible to go to each other’s room without getting someone from the room to escort. Do take this into consideration if you intend to book multiple rooms. Additionally, we manage to get only 1 room during the official check in time i.e. 2pm. Our 3rd room was only ready at close to 5pm. The hotel is able to safekeep your luggage if you prefer to continue with your day instead of waiting for your rooms to be ready. The rooms are spacious and you can watch a variety of channels on the TV. Some drilling works can be heard at night but fortunately it was quick. It lasted less than a minute. After all, this is a new hotel so some works can be expected. Breakfast is beyond expectation. First time seeing instant noodle counter and live grill station for breakfast. Food is awesome especially the roasted duck and cakes. They have hot chocolate which is an added bonus. They also have different soups for your noodles. Place is big but can get busy during peak period. On Sunday morning at 0830am, queue started to build up as people are waiting for seats to be available. Luckily we had went in earlier. The staffs are proactive in finding available seats for them. Since the breakfast is good, some people stayed longer to try out the different selections. You will need to go earlier or slightly later to avoid the crowd. Monday morning breakfast was relatively empty so no issues with the timing. Swimming pool size is decent and big enough for kids to enjoy. Gym seems to be well equipped. Did not try out the spa so cannot comment on it. Nearest shopping mall is One Batam Mall. You can walk on the cycling track from the mall to the hotel. It is a straight road. The only hurdle will be to cross the road as the hotel is on the opposite side of the road. The mall is fairly new so some parts of it is still under renovation. If you want to go to other malls, can easily get a ride through Grab, Gojek or Bluebird. I find myself using Gojek more as the prices are relatively cheaper. It might not always be the case so do your own research. Prices should be around $2-$3 per trip. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel.

Just to inform to all who wants to book this place… The standard drop… compare to last time I stay… We book the top 2nd tier of the room and paid higher but given a sub-standard room and amenities… villa no. 90 to 99 maybe… that was what the front desk told us… Plus side: - Big room… - 2 bedroom… - private pool the size of 2 king size bed…? - Nice breakfast… - Nice staff and buggy drivers… Cons : 1. The room are sandy… till our bed… no slippers provided till we requested one… at provide a pair or two to those who are sensitive to sand… 2. The toilet no comb, shaver, shower cap or cotton bud… given upon request… and the poor housekeeping will drive their buggy or car which need to wait 15 to 20 minutes…? 3. We paid high price for the room… the bottled water cheap type… not even brand of Aqua(trusted brand in Indonesia)… where 2 night before, I stay in a hotel $55/night… they provide Aqua 4 bottles for 2 pax… 4. In breakfast, the spread no Japanese… the night before I stay in the city side do provide that… and the price was just $75/night… I happen to taste a nice cake… and ask for a small take away box but was declined… but I saw some gentleman got one… no choice… maybe 2nd tier room not qualified… 5. They knew the use buggy system.. but they didn’t have sufficient buggy to go around… after breakfast long queue to wait for the next buggy… 6. Food and drinks expensive… not say we can’t afford but not worth at all… Sorry being long winded… but just sharing to those who want to come Batam holiday… this resort not worth at all… Happy Holidays…

The hotel is located in a remote industrial area and belongs to a remote rural area. The hotel does not have any special facilities for swimming pools. The breakfast is only like eggs, bread, fried rice, fried noodles, etc. There is a mosque opposite, and the prayers will be heard every morning from 4 to 5 pm. No need to adjust the alarm clock to get up at 4 o'clock in the morning. 😃
