The hotel all in all is very good. Clean, polite staff and location is perfect.
Parking will have to be in the public parking around the corner which is about £20 for a day.
Online it said the hotel offers halal food but once we got there they said they aren't sure they do it.
The staff also informed us that we wouldn't be able to eat at the restaurant that day because they were booked for a function, but we feel this should've been communicated beforehand by email etc.
Other than this I think this hotel is the best in the area and is very classy and welcoming.

I wish they could get their heating/Aircon system to work. 2nd stay in as many years and same issue both times. And beware if you stay on the side near the Huntsman -who would think that a Monday night last call would be so loud???
Lovely to see Temple Spa in the bathroom though

We arrived on the 3rd December. Hotel had a very warm welcome to it however once we have been allocated the room (4) things went wrong straight away. Room was nice and tidy however the heating was not working, the bathroom had a sewage smell and the bed straps pin was coming apart. When to reception twice to enquire about the heating in the room,
in the end I was given 2 heather and that’s it. The bed strap pin was removed by the receptionist and the smell in the bathroom stopped us from having a shower/bath as the smell was so bad. All we got was an apology upon departure and that’s all. Oh and the email for the manager as there was nothing they could do there and then. It ruined our experience. I believe the customer service could improve as there was not empathy shown at all.
