I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the doors. I stayed there when it was the old hotel. The hotel was bright and alot of people staying there. Upon arrival, the employee who checked me in was helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and nothing out of place. I did have a fridge in my room so that was a perk. The hotel was close to where my meetings were so I was able to leave my car in the parking garage and walk. I did not use the pool or the workout room so I cant comment on that. I would stay here again.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Battle Creek and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the highlight was definitely the bar on the top floor—a great spot to grab a drink with a view. The room rate was competitive, which was a plus, but parking was a bit of a downside. It’s limited and comes with a $14/day fee, which adds up quickly. Another minor issue was the AC unit—it worked, but it was noticeably noisy. That said, the rest of the hotel was nice and quiet, so sleep wasn’t a problem. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, though they didn’t have many suggestions for out-of-town guests looking for things to do in the area. A few more local recommendations would have been helpful. All in all, it’s a solid choice for a short stay in Battle Creek.
