Gem in a box!

Booking this house was easy and the response was great. Checking in was very easy as all information needed was sent the day before I was to arrive. The house was exactly like the pictures. This is the first house I stayed at that was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms with things I usually have to go to the store and buy. The house was very spacious. My family and I really enjoyed being there. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay and the price was well worth it.

Incredibly clean and thoughtfully stocked We had a large group traveling from all over the country and this house met all of our needs! The house was spotlessly clean and somehow stocked with all the things we forgot at home. The owner knew we had children traveling with us and left thoughtful touches like fresh fruit, fresh milk, and popsicles in the freezer for the kids. If you are traveling with a large group, this is the place to stay!

Perfect Home Away from Home My parents (79 & 84) and I stayed at Gem in a Box for a long weekend to attend a wedding. Let me start by saying traveling isn't easy for my parents, still they were extremely comfortable and couldn't say enough about it. It's great for a family with kids too. This spacious and comfortable property couldn't have been nicer! Extra-comfortable beds, room darkening curtains, nice-sized bedrooms and huge common spaces, outlets with USB ports... the sofa has motorized reclining chairs also with USB outlets (big hit with the parents - and me too!). Attention to every detail. And I mean every detail! The property is well located in terms of navigating the historic Fredericksburg VA area and access to stores, etc., but not really walkable. We arrived to a few lovely surprises - I'll leave those for you to discover the way we did. I will say that they were very welcoming and helped us settle in. Gustavo was wonderful with communication and assisting me with my reservation. If you're thinking about staying at Gem in a Box don't hesitate to book the property - you'll be so glad you did!
