"Die Inhaber sind ein Italiener und seine philippinische Frau, sie sind beide im Gastroggewerbe ausgebildet und sehr kompetent und äußerst hilfsbereit. Er hat uns für wenig Geld zum nächsten Hotel gefahren, sie vermieten auch Fahrräder und Scooter, Rundum alles gut. Sehr zum empfehlen man hat direkten Blick auf die chocolet hills"

"The place is situated in a quiet spot near chocolate hills. It has a homey vibe. Casa Aguelo is a pretty decent accommodation with a friendly staff but the in house food is overpriced at 60 pesos per cup of rice and 280 pesos for 4 small cubes of pork with random vegetables for ”sinigang” . From Dao terminal, you need to ride a bus to Carmen and get off at chocolate hills complex , then ride a tricycle to Casa Aguelo. The travel time is approximately 3 hrs from the airport , with limited transportation , we had to book another hotel near the airport ( panglao) as we happen to have an early flight. I rate this overall at 3 because there's nothing special about the place and despite being in the middle of the coconut trees, it has overpriced ”food” with no official menu."

"New hotel so everything good condition. Clean good size room with a nice hot shower. Restaurant onsite is decent and is open till 7pm. They do a basic but good breakfast. Beautiful to be next to busai falls, easy to get tuk tuk or even bus to tarsier sanctuary and chocolate hills. Staff really helpful with everything and organise tuk tuks for you. Also a great source of information. A lovely place to stay."

"Very nice discovery. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Ideally located equidistant from the main attractions of the island (Chocolate Hills, Loboc river, Tarsier Sanctuary, etc.). Please note that there is only one common toilet block and no water point or WC in the tents (very spacious). The only regrettable point is the absence of a real restaurant nearby. You have to go by scooter (rental recommended) to the small town center where you can find a few sellers of skewers that are not always appetizing. On this point, please note that it is possible to request a barbecue with meat and vegetables from the establishment staff. A restaurant should soon open on the premises. Many thanks to Ray, the boss, for driving us to our ferry pier. We will keep very good memories of our stay :)"
