This was our first travel to Villa Baviera. There was given good food and super service. The atmosphere and area is very attractive. The fresh air helped us to sleep good. The staff was very friendly and capable to handle our questions. I want to go again back to visit.

We made a reservation for two nights. They were very accommodating to our needs and questions. No need to pay in advance to reserve, maybe because it was low season. However, when we arrived, we found a not well-maintained hotel, stains in the carpets, kind of old furniture, elevator not functioning. Our rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes, although it was clearly indicated in each room that smoking was forbidden. We needed Internet, and it wasn't available on our floor (the third one). After communicating all these problems to the receptionist, she made all the possible to find a solution for us. We were offered other rooms (1 of 3 visited had a strong cigarette smell) on the second floor that had an available but weak Internet signal. We visited the game room, with a pool table with only 12 balls, and 1 of them broken. This place has a lot of potential, but when we visited it there was nothing really appealing besides the price. It will be a pleasure to talk to the management to provide some advice. Thanks to Caroline, the receptionist, that tried to help us as much as possible!

It is a place to rest, beautiful landscapes, the hotel is immersed in the village, which is a small village where there are from a health post to a mechanical workshop, it has a museum, although the entire village including the hotel is a museum of colonial life farmer from 40 years ago. The old quality of the hotel is noticeable, with marble and decoration of yesteryear now outdated (you have to understand and value that), the restaurant with typical German food, it is noted that the products are self-made (the essence of "colony" is noted isolated from "civilization", hence the self-sufficiency), the prices did not seem expensive to us (8 to 12 thousand per plate). It is to stay from 2 to 3 days, no more, whoever wants a Fantacilandia, do not come, it is more than anything a destination of special taste for those who want to know about what it is like to live in a German colony with a long history and also with a certain sinister and prejudice that the new settlers want to eradicate.
