Our Butler Ryan made our trip!!!! He was amazing , he was dealing with many of our families and always accommodated us with dinner reservations and anything else we needed. The resort was beautiful and it was one of the best vacations we’ve been on as a family if 6.

Beach, room, pools, amenities, and diamond club services exceeded expectations. We enjoyed Breakfast and lunch - dinners have some opportunity. Was a great layout and easy to navigate - all the service staff were very friendly and made us feel special.

Our family vacation at Royalton Bavaro was enjoyable overall. We upgraded to Diamond Club, which I highly recommend—it made check-in and check-out much smoother. We had Delvis as our butler, and he truly made our stay extra special, he checked on us daily and always had a positive attitude. The Diamond Club pool was my favorite spot, and having access to an additional buffet was super convenient. Most of the staff were amazing. Special shoutout to Yuleimi Figueroa, the hostess at the DC buffet—she was incredibly sweet and provided excellent customer service. The beach and pool servers were also fantastic; they work so hard and really made a difference in our experience. A few members of the concierge team were genuinely kind and helpful, even though we didn’t attend the timeshare presentation. We stayed in Building 19, Room 19310, which was a family ocean view suite. The beds were just okay, and we didn’t initially have enough pillows or blankets, but we eventually got more after some follow-up. The AC was very cold, but at least it worked well. Our fridge was fully stocked and refilled daily, which was appreciated. The fitness center was excellent, I enjoyed my workout every morning. The food was pretty good most of the time, though I did eat something that didn’t sit well with my stomach. The drinks were great, and there was a nice variety. My main concern was with cleanliness and maintenance, especially the bug issue. We saw several cockroaches in the hallway outside our room, a few small ones inside our room, and even one in the buffet dining area. This really needs to be addressed. Additionally, the resort could benefit from better upkeep—like fresh paint and more consistent cleaning. Overall, I’d rate the resort 3.5 stars, but it has the potential to be a 5-star experience if these issues are resolved. This was also my first time booking through Costco Travel, and it was a great experience—I’ll definitely use them again in the future

Royalton Bavaro was the perfect family vacation. The service exceeded our expectations! We stayed Diamond Club and our Butler Darleny made sure our trip was exquisite! The kindness shown by the staff exceeded our expectations. We did the Buggy Excursion and had a blast. I visited the spa for a massage and hydrotherapy, which was very relaxing and added more comfort to the trip! We enjoyed visiting all the a la carte restaurants for some fine dining. Mayra our food concierge made sure each dinner was perfect! The pools and grounds were constantly being kept up and clean. We never went thirsty and our kids constantly had something to do with the entertainment and activities the resort provided! The beach was beautiful and clean, we never had an issue getting a chair at the beach or pools, no matter what time we went! Overall, BEST VACATION EVER!! We can’t wait to come back!

I would not recommend this resort to anyone going to the dominican republic. The food is subpar and the selection is not good. The best service is for diamond club members. If you are not or do not upgrade to be, your experience will not be the same. The resort has a lot of wear and tear and it shows. Takes a very long time for common areas to be cleaned. Prepare to walk. The pools are a distance from the bars. You will be walking. If you do not secure one of the 10 shady areas in front of the pools, you will be roasting or sitting under a tarp situation the resort has which is a walk if you are trying to be by your little ones when they are in the pool. Our last day there, the lobby women bathroom was covered in feces.

The perfect vacation for a birthday getaway! We are diamond club / prime so we had our amazing butler - Manuel, he was by far the best butler we’ve ever had at any of the Royalton Resorts. When we come back, we will be requesting him again! He was super friendly and always provided prompt services - above and beyond. The diamond club lounge always had great food! Food - my boyfriend is very picky with his steaks and Hunter was one of the best steaks he’s ever had! We went to the steakhouse 4 times during our stay. Get the flank! All of the a la cartes exceeded our expectations in terms of service, quality and consistency. However the buffet was a bit on the smaller side. Pools & Beach - Lazy river was perfect. We spent most of our days drifting away! The swim up bar is the perfect touch. The beach was beautiful, they took time to clean the weeds and we ended up having two beautiful beach days! If you’re a beach person, keep in mind the best times for the beach in the DR during the year… September is not peak season so we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to spend two days in a clean and beautiful beach. Entertainment - great! Night shows were amazing and we found this Michael Jackson to be one of the best. From beginning to end, we had a perfect vacation! We will be bringing both our families next time :) Thank you Manuel!
