Melia Punta Cana Beach

We had a great trip to Punta Cana at the Melia Beach resort. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and beach, the restaurants, bars, and all the many activities and amenities. Highlights include the YHI spa, which was included with our level room. The spa is beautiful, the massages were excellent and I loved the different showers and facilities. The pool was always refreshing and they were constantly cleaning it. The beach was also frequently cleared of seaweed and the level beach cabanas were our favorite place to hang out. We also really loved the many activities at the resort. We participated in yoga, bike tour, ice bath, workshops, aqua Zumba, and more. They were well organized and a lot of fun. I loved that there was always something to do, so you were never bored. But we often just had so much fun relaxing at the beach and pool that the days flew by. The nightly shows were great too, we particularly loved the Taino performance. The resort is huge but we never had an issue with the trams and we never waited more than 5 minutes ever for one. Sometimes we walked and it was such a beautiful property that the walk wasn’t bad at all. I loved the snacks and drinks all day in the level lounge and having the minibar was also very handy. The maids did a wonderful job keeping the room clean. We also loved the bath tub in our room and used it daily. I want to give an extra special shout out to our concierge for the week, Jenfry De Jesus. He went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions. He was our favorite part of our vacation, hands down. He was so gracious, kind and helpful all week. He texted us the daily activities each morning and started off each day with a beautiful inspirational quote. He checked up on us often and always made sure we were taken care of. He noticed when my husband had a headache and kept checking on him to make sure he was okay, offering to get him medicine or medical help if needed. It was really so sweet of him to not only notice but to keep checking on him to see if he could do anything and to see how he was doing. He even texted us during hours he wasn’t working just to make sure we were okay and taken care of. He also arranged a special turn down service for us with champagne and flowers. It was the best surprise ever! On our last morning he arranged our luggage to be driven back up to the lobby and even called the driver to make sure we had been picked up on time. It was the small details that he never missed and made us feel so loved and well taken care of. He truly is a gem of a human and a phenomenal employee. I will never forget his kindness, warm smile, and helpful hand that he had all week. Thank you so much Jenfry! You made our vacation so special and unforgettable. Melia is so lucky to have you on their team.

We had our honeymoon here and it was such a wonderful and pleasant experience. The resort was beautiful, relaxing, and everything we hoped for. A special thanks to Jean, who went above and beyond to assist us all throughout our stay until the moment we left. His kindness and attentiveness made our honeymoon even more memorable. Highly recommended!

This trip was amazing on so many levels. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The food was mostly healthy. This was a wonderful start to our wellness journey. They offer many activities and entertainment. We stayed in the level which afforded us addition upgrades. One was a personal concierge service. We were assigned Eddie solutions and Jose minaya. Both were very attentive. We were accommodated beyond our expectations. They addressed any concerns we had immediately. They were both so friendly and every time we saw them just out and about they greeted us with genuine smiles that helped to make our visit feel so warm and welcoming. We would definitely return to this resort and we hope to received Eddie solutions.and Jose minaya again. We give this our experience here a 10 out of 10

Diana y Maria are really nice people, they were attentive with us all night last night by the show. And today at the chocolate scrub Diana greeted us as well making us feel very welcomed. Yoga was also really nice this morning as well.

We had a great time at the Meliá Punta Cana Beach. The food was amazing, the experiences on offer were also really good. Night time entertainment on offer was great and the room upgrade was a nice touch.
