Great place ! I love it! I’m a travel agent and everything met my criteria. I didn’t get to stay on property a lot because we had a lot of excursions. But we will come back

Had a great experience at Occidental Punta Cana. The food was good and the food choices were not too bad. The property was well maintained and the rooms were fairly cleaned.

The only negative point is that most of the staff (at restaurants especially) are a bit cold and not friendly. To book services and restaurants you have to be very patient, they are a bit confuse and lack organization and practicing to the guests. Besides that the place is really great!

Ha sido una estancia agradable. El servicio de atencion al cliente por parte del hotel ha sido satisfactoria en general. El todo incluido que ofrece era mejorable bajo mi punto de vista. Y por ese precio podía haber incluido el traslado. Instalaciones mejorables sobre todo el gimnasio que no es apto para ese hotel, se queda muy pequeño e inaccesible, parece un laberinto para poder entrar. Y el spa también se queda en muy pobre y ni siquiera incluido en la oferta del paquete de todo incluido con habitación superior. Cuando en España el 90% esta incluido ambos servicios, traslado y spa. Gran hotel gran cadena, pero mi cara de satisfacción por algunas otras cosas se queda indiferente por ese motivo...La variedad en el buffet de comidas tampoco era demasiada...se compensa con el trato al cliente y el entorno de playas vírgenes. Luego un detalle es la sobrepesadez en cuanto a vendedores ambulantes fuera y dentro del recinto...hasta con los masajes...

I, unfortunately do not recommend this hotel. Things I didn’t like: -The check in process is a mess. When me and my husband got there, there was a long line and the organization was horrible. -Some of the staff are very very rude. You tell them good morning, or thank you and they don’t say anything back to you. -The food is not great and the variety is very poor. -The distance between restaurants, the reception and the blocks close to the beach is a lot, and a lot of times there are no golf cars to take you where you need to go. -No one takes you to your room to show you where they are, you have to figure it out if the golf cars are not available. -We had to wait for a while for us to be taken to our room, since it was far. Every time a golf car came, they took someone else that was there after us. -You cannot be at peace at the beach because of the sellers. They offer you what they’re selling back to back, and different people each time. This is very annoying. -You have to do a line a lot of the times to be able to get to one of the restaurants. -The “alcoholic drinks” barely had any alcohol. They were watered. Thins I liked: -The animation team is very good. Me and my husband loved the “Magic show” especially. -The beach is very very beautiful. -The bed in the room is very comfortable and the room has a good amount of space. -The AC and the hot water worked good.
