This was our 10th visit to Hotel Comte de Nice. The reception staff - Sophia, Casey and Irene are wonderful and very attentive, particularly Sophia who we knew from previous visits. The revamp of the hotel dining area gives you a very “cold “ feeling, white plastic furniture and dining in an open area that other guests can see whilst working through the reception. The breakfast itself is not up to the standard offered by the previous owner (the baguettes are very dry) and the increase in room rates including breakfast is not justified. If you intend to stay at this hotel you would be best to forgo the breakfast option. However, the rooms are quiet, spacious and very clean and the position is excellent
