This is the 2nd time we stayed here and in the same room. First time was 2017. The room has been refurbished since 2017. It is still a work in progress. The front lady was friendly and helpful. Never ate in the restaurant as we brought our own food.

First review of 2025!!! Full Recommend!!! Yea, okay, saw all the old reviews but hey, make your own experience! Based on those reviews, the motel has really turned itself around. It’s owned by small family, and they care. They were nice during check in. Breakfast was delicious! Great meal before getting on the road! Fuel is like old times fueling, way great memory restored! Yes, I remember in 2022 it was cash only… used card today!

After we checked in and went to our rooms, we turned up the thermostat to get some heat. About a 30 minutes later still no heat.
We went to the office and they said the heat is off. We asked can you turn the heat on? They said NO, people have windows open and it will waste heat. They gave us 2 portable heaters and said here ya go.
Later we went to the office for ice and the lady said you just asked for heat, now you want ice? I said heat for us, ice for drinks.
Later on, they did turn on the building heat. But by morning it had again been turned off.
It's the only game in town but gosh it was not fun dealing with the management.

Old, dated, dilapidated, not run like a busines
The restaurant was shut down by the health inspector. The lady at desk didn’t even know how to find a reservation place is run down, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Bad smells
Black fingerprints all over the walls. Old bits of food in the carpet. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Refrigerator unplugged and closed on arrival - horrible smell. Room itself smelled like mildew and bad air freshener. Air freshener was one of the little pine tree car fresheners
