I've seen reviews mentioning that service might occasionally be strained during the busy peak season. However, my wife and I visited during the off-season, and we found the service from the front desk, restaurant, and room service to be exceptionally on point. The facilities were fantastic, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed the gym, swimming pool, and hot tub. We'd definitely love to visit again if we get the chance.

Located in Yanqing Olympic Village, the hotel boasts modern, well-equipped facilities. It offers beautiful surroundings, fresh air, and a variety of entertainment options suitable for all ages. What truly stood out was the warm and attentive service; the staff were proactive in anticipating guests' needs. A special shout-out to the front desk team! We will definitely be back.

Some reviews mentioned a 'state-owned enterprise' vibe, but I didn't get that impression at all. The service staff were incredibly friendly and proactively offered help – truly excellent! Perhaps it's just the natural hospitality of the Yanqing locals. The rooms were a bit basic and not as well-maintained, feeling more like a standard apartment, but that was exactly the relaxed atmosphere we were seeking. The scenery was beautiful, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy.

The room was excellent, especially the air conditioning which was incredibly powerful. Even on a scorching summer day, it felt quite cool upon entering. We couldn't make it to the mountain top to see the 'Sky Mirror.' However, that's alright; it just leaves us with something wonderful to look forward to for our next visit!

The room was well-appointed, and the view from the window was decent. It was also well-equipped, making everything convenient to use. Guests received complimentary activities during their stay. However, the outdoor hot springs weren't very clean; we even found insects in the pools. The equipment for the acrobatic performance was outdated, though the young performers were quite talented. Breakfast offered a good variety, but dinner was just mediocre. The overall setting and facilities of the resort were quite good. However, the hotel's front desk service was appalling. When we were checking out at 10:30 AM, we had to wait for the front desk attendant who was on a phone call for ten straight minutes. As it was pouring rain, we asked the front desk about road sections affected by potential landslides before leaving. The attendant, with an incredibly rude attitude, snapped back, 'Can't you see I'm on the phone?!' Because of that specific staff member's attitude, we will never return.

The resort covers a large area, but everything from parking to reaching our accommodation, dining, and leisure facilities was incredibly inconvenient. To put it mildly, the overall layout, including the shuttle service, is poorly designed. Many empty spaces are underutilized, giving the entire place the stark feeling of a former athletes' dormitory. The cable car is long and, as expected, very expensive. Given such steep prices, why aren't the mountaintop facilities as well-maintained and comprehensive as those in Taiwoo Town? It truly feels like they're operating just for the sake of it, completely missing any commercial appeal or a worthwhile guest experience. The only upside was that the temperature here was a bit lower than in urban Beijing.

The Olympic Hotel was ideal for my trip to the Haituo Trail Running Race. The surroundings were pleasant, and it was a convenient 20-minute drive to the starting line. The dining experience, however, was pretty average. The restaurant staff seemed to have very rigid roles, often only assisting with tasks directly assigned to them. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to experience the cable car or the therapeutic baths.

Fantastic stay! Before anything else, I must mention something important: I accidentally left my headphones in the room. The front desk staff promptly arranged for them to be mailed back to me via SF Express. I truly appreciate their excellent service! This hotel, which previously served as dormitories for various national teams during the Winter Olympics, is incredibly clean. The service is also great, and as for the scenery, it's simply breathtaking! It was a perfect opportunity to bring our child to experience the Olympic legacy. The cable car tour within the resort area is highly recommended. The round trip takes about an hour, and the views from the mountaintop are absolutely beautiful.

Our room was also lovely – neat, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Loved it! The cable car ride was quite long, and the views were absolutely stunning. Everyone, from the kids to the seniors, said they'd love to come back.

The shuttle service was good, and overall, the stay was acceptable. However, having just returned from Thaiwoo Town, I found the hotel's service here quite subpar in comparison. Entertainment options were severely limited, and the restaurant was very average. I wouldn't particularly recommend it; Haituo Mountain Valley might be a better option.

Absolutely delighted! They offered a complete experience with dining, entertainment, and activities. The herbal bath was wonderful, and the kids really enjoyed the acrobatics and mountain coaster. The cable car ride was a blast! Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. In the quad room, the single beds could be combined to create two large beds, which was incredibly convenient for families with children. The bath towels were large and plush. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and the directional signs were clear. We'll definitely be back!

Our family went on a weekend trip and we've actually visited this place twice. The first time we came on a weekend, it rained heavily, preventing us from enjoying many of the activities. Luckily, the hotel generously offered an extension, allowing us to revisit before August 31st. So we came back for another visit, and catching a perfectly sunny day was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was clean and tidy, and the buffet breakfast was quite varied and plentiful. There's a convenient shuttle service directly from the lobby to the different buildings. The outdoor herbal hot springs were lovely, though we did encounter quite a few insects. The cable car ride was truly excellent, taking you up over 2,000 meters above sea level. The 'Sky Mirror' at the summit is a fantastic spot for photos. The alpine slide was also a blast, and other smaller activities like animal feeding, go-karts, and performances were enjoyable too. However, the three water activities weren't great. They were hard to find, and the path through the overgrown grass was quite messy – it definitely needs some dedicated maintenance. Overall, we were very satisfied, and we'll definitely come back again in the future!

Originally built as a supporting hotel for the 2022 Winter Olympics, the facilities are still in excellent condition, and everything feels very new. We purchased a pre-sale package that included so many activities we couldn't possibly experience them all. Our family room for four was very quiet and cool, so we hardly needed to turn on the air conditioning. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but the shower cubicle was decent, and the excellent water pressure made for a super comfortable shower. Dining-wise, the breakfast was an absolute highlight, offering a great balance of Western and Chinese options, and everything tasted delicious. For lunch and dinner, guests could choose from barbecue on the first floor, traditional pot stews on the second, and à la carte stir-fries on the third. We had dinner on the third floor; for three adults and one child, it cost over 600 RMB. While the overall taste was average, the garlic grilled fish offered good value for money. The hotel grounds are quite expansive, meaning there's a fair distance from the rooms to the various entertainment facilities. Although shuttle buses are provided, our elderly family members found it a bit strenuous.

Yanqing is wonderfully cool in summer, thanks to its altitude of over 1400 meters above sea level. The Winter Olympic Village is seamlessly integrated, and hotel guests enjoy a 15% discount on the scenic cable car. A round trip on the three-section cable car offers a fantastic panoramic view of the ski resort. Facilities: International standard. Cleanliness: Spotless. Ambiance: Grand and international. Service: Excellent standard. This hotel is superior to most 4-star establishments. Even with a slight cafeteria feel, the breakfast quality surpasses that of many mid-to-high-end 5-star hotels. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Overall, a highly recommended hotel.
