The hotel is everything i could ask for. I've been to Beijing numerous times already and I dont know why I just discovered this hotel. Perfect location even at night. Very close to most of the touristy spots. Clean rooms and size is big enough for 1-2 people. Receptionists were all very accommodating. You can just add their wechat to ask questions. The design is modern and clean, with a clear separation between the bathroom and sleeping area. The bed is cozy, and thereâs a small table thatâs perfect for light meals or getting some work done. The hotel's in a great location, it's extremely close to the train station. The plaza by the station often has elders doing group dances at night, it's a great atmosphere. I stayed in the Superior Suite -- spacious, comfortable bed, lots of natural light. This is a great hotel to stay in for a longer time period. The toilet, shower, and sink are in separate sections - helpful if you travel with multiple people since all three would be usable. The only issue I had with my stay was that the bottom of the toilet seemed to be leaking a little bit of water but it wasn't that big of a deal. I enjoyed the morning breakfast buffets, they were affordable and convenient especially when I had an early travel plans. The luggage storage was convenient and the front desk staff were helpful

Hotel facilities is good. Toilet is modern and has those fancy remote. Breakfast is good, hoping they will add more western breakfast like bread and butter. Some food are a bit oily though but it's not an issue as there are other options. I enjoyed the SOYA milk. Location wise it's near Universal Studios. However, I really thought the Harry potter robe is FREE. Unfortunately it's not it's a just âdiscounted offerâ. Not really discounted as I read there are cheaper option for rental somewhere else. Good thing we bought our own scarf and wand online, so we just use what we brought.
Lastly, I really like the free use of laundry. It really helps a lot especially we have been travelling around Northern China for 8 days. so I still give 5 star even though I was a bit sad on the robe part.

Very friendly and helpful staff (not the greatest English speakers but good enough)
Breakfast was very varied and catered for my English requirements. (It was even cheaper than quoted on here too⊠only 35yuan)
Room was lovely, a little hot but nice as it was very cold outside.
No door on toilet but I was alone so this wasnât an issue.
No door not disturb sign to hang on door but when asked they left my room undisturbed.
Free popcorn, snacks and coffee machine in foyer.
Gym is very small and not much to train on.
Fast, reliable WiFi.
My only real complaint was unable to access the rooftop garden. When I inquired told âit was too coldâ. Not your choice to make. I am a smoker and didnât enjoy having to go down to the street to smoke (they do have a little corner out front with bench and ashtray to smoke though)
Short walk from Beijing South train station.
I recommend, especially for the price and would use again if I return to Beijing

GGuest UserThis is the first time staying at this hotel. It is about 10 mins from Universal Studio and they have a free shuttle to take you there (7am and 8am) and one free shuttle back at night about 9:30pm. I do not speak Mandarin and paying with my WeChat and Alipay without a China phone number was not working for me so calling taxi and ordering food was difficult. Thanks to the hostess (ććżć§) things went smoothly. She sent her contact, shuttle bus info and the hotel passcode via WeChat. When I need to order food, she allow us to order food via her phone as she waited patiently for us. When we reimburse her for the food, we gave her a bit more money because she waited for over half an hour for us to order but she insist not a penny more. On our last day out, we left the hotel very early in the morning as we tried to get a taxi ourselves since the hostess was not in yet but we ended up having to WeChat her for help. The hostess told us not to worry because she can order a taxi for us. We told her we were waiting at the same spot where the shuttle bus to Universal Studio picked us. She actually ran all the way from her home ( she lived approx. half an hour away) to where we were and waited with us until we got on to the taxi and she spoke to the taxi driver in Mandarin so he knows which airport to take us to.Honestly, where do you get this kind of service? The hostess speaks a bit of English ( she is taking courses to improve her English) but if we donât understand each other, we use Alipay translated or the translation app on her phone. I definitely will come back again. Oh, FYI, the hostess do not enter your room to clean unless she have your permission which is great because I do not need cleaning everyday. They also provide disposable face and bath towel which I donât mind because you know it is sanitary. She also greet you with a nice big plate of watermelon even when our plane was delayed by 4 hours and we did not arrive till approximately 11pm (she waited for us). I think if we would have set up our WeChat with a Chinese SIM card life would have been easier. We only got a Chinese SIM card after we left Summer House. After that, ordering food, calling taxi and making mobile payment was possible. I am grateful that the hostess went out of her way for us else we would have no idea how to order food. Hope this info help.

CCxlJust headed over from Wangfujing which was very centralised with lots of food options and places to visit nearby so this location was definitely not as accessible/convenient. Would still recommend staying around the Wangfujing area if youâre looking at travelling via the subway and want to experience the night shopping life.
However, when it came to cleanliness and hotel amenities, I would say that Orange Hotel has it all! They have optional breakfast provided, a small gym, complimentary coffee/tea/juice at the lobby and even a laundry room - very useful for those on a long trip. Price-wise, definitely worth your buck for the well-renovated and luxurious-looking room. Service was exceptional and Shen Nan at the reception, who assisted us during check-in and out, was very friendly and even gave us some gifts upon check-out. Enjoyed our stay here!
GGuest UserLezai is truly one of the best, if not the best, places I have ever stayed. Over the course of 12 nights, we were welcomed by the friendliest team, who made us feel like family. Their care and attention to detail were exceptionalâfrom surprising us with a birthday cake to going above and beyond when we lost our phone in a DiDi car. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to recover it. When we fell sick for two days, the team took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed.
The room was spacious and perfect for our family of six, providing comfort and plenty of space. Located in the heart of a bustling Hutong, Lezai is a stunning four-courtyard hotel that truly captures the charm of traditional Beijing. They serve delicious breakfast and high tea, and we were delighted to experience their special dumpling-making event on New Yearâs Eve. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and authentic stay!
GGuest UserThe experience of staying at the Ji Gongti Dongmen Hotel this time was beyond expectations. It was a perfect travel experience! From the moment we arrived at the hotel, Xiao Wei, the front desk staff, enthusiastically stepped forward to help carry the luggage and guided us to the front desk to check in. Not only were they skilled in their movements, but they also took the initiative to inform us of the surrounding food recommendations and transportation guides. The meticulous service made people feel very cordial. When you walk into the room, the first impression is cleanliness and elegance. The warm-toned lighting and the simple and atmospheric decoration style create a warm home atmosphere. The bedding is clean and soft, and the mattress fits the body curve, so that the fatigue of a day's running around will instantly dissipate. The bathroom uses a smart toilet, exuding a light fragrance, and the details show quality. The air purifier, mini bar snacks and drinks, and free charging cables, steam eye masks and other items in the room really do what the guests want. The public areas of the hotel are also surprising. The gym equipment is professional and well-maintained, and there are surprises during breakfast. There are not only Western delicacies such as freshly ground coffee, but also local snacks. The chef team will prepare hot food such as noodles and wonton stew on site according to the needs of the guests, with full marks for freshness and deliciousness. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this hotel perfectly meets the needs. It is only a few steps away from the subway station and the business district, which is very convenient for travel and shopping. The staff also gave souvenirs when checking out. This kind of thoughtful service throughout the whole process makes people want to stay again! Highly recommended to everyone who pursues quality and comfort!

TTinaMFantastic location if you're about to catch a train via the Beijing West Railway Station. The hotel is just across the station, one can walk through the parking lot and arrive in 2 minutes. If you're arriving via taxi for the first time, it might be a bit confusing when you arrive, as station staff sometimes close off the parking area so vehicles cannot go inside from the main road - just look for the hotel's name though (it's in English and Chinese, both) and you're set. The hotel's reception area is quite small, more than 1-3 people can't really sit in the lobby if waiting for someone/taxi etc. The room I stayed in was large and I was so pleasantly surprised to see how well equipped it was - there was an air purifier, humidifier, water heater etc. The bed was also very, very comfortable. There was hot water 24/7 and the bathroom was clean, though there was a lot of lint accumulated in the hair dryer and it didn't heat properly (this wasn't a huge issue for me so I didn't request for a replacement). There is an absolutely gorgeous teaset in the room too, and brewing my morning tea was such a delight. The ac can both cool and warm the room, which I thought was great.
The housekeeping staff were absolutely lovely. Initially they were baffled when I said I don't need fresh towels and slippers everyday and kept insisting on giving me more water bottles haha, they were so kind and warm. Thank you to them for putting a smile on my face everytime I walked by. The reception staff however were notably less warm, although they did try to help me whenever I asked for aid with directions, breakfast timings etc. If you're a foreigner and don't speak any Chinese, you're probably considering staying here because it's a Radisson property and therefore one assumes that reception staff will speak English - my advice is, if this is your first time in China / you haven't yet figured out how to use translation apps, reconsider staying here, as none of the reception staff can speak English and it may be difficult for foreign guests. If you know a little basic Chinese though or can use translation apps, I do recommend staying here, mainly for the location. If you're worried about the Beijing West railway station being a bit unsafe (which it can be), there is always a security guard posted inside the hotel premises. He was kind and it was always reassuring to see him, even when I stepped out at 3 am for some convenience store noodles!
I will say though that the reception staff were oddly cold at times -- for example, I had unfortunately missed my early morning train due to a communication issue. I explained this to the ladies at reception, apologising for any inconvenience and asking if I could please leave my luggage with them for a few hours after I check out at 2:00 pm. They responded saying âyou can leave your luggage here but you cannot stay overnightâ - it was presented to me as if I was begging/asking for favours. There was no question of my staying overnight as I had explained that I would check out before their checkout time, and would take the next train out of Beijing. Little things like this do spoil an otherwise pleasant experience.
I did not try the breakfast buffet so can't comment on that. I will say though that ordering takeaway was always a treat, because a cute robot comes to deliver the parcel at your door. This is normal in Chinese hotels, but this particular bot was very cute :)

AAnonymous UserI am very pleased with my stay in the hotel. I feel that it was really a perfect choice for me in Beijing.
1. The service at the reception was great. The personnel was is very friendly and ready to help. Nancy speaks English well and helped me with all my requests.
2. The hotel is very clean. One of the best room cleaning services Iâve experienced. The towels were changed. New bottles of water appeared every day.
3. The room. Much attention is paid to details. The room has everything: iron, hairdryer, a kettle with temperature regulation (tea provided). Everything is beautifully designed. The toilet is smart. Hotel provides soap, hand cream, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel - I liked the smell a lot. Air conditioning works good. Water heating system also works good.
It is quiet in the room. I had a room near the elevator but it never disturbed me. I slept well.
4. Perfect location. The hotel is located in Shijia Hutong. It is quiet, cosy and clean. Many of the main attractions are nearby and it is very convenient to reach the subway station. I will strongly recommend to visit Shijia Hutong Museum near the hotel, I liked it a lot and the entrance is free. There are also many places to eat around the hotel.
5. The restaurant. I liked wontons for breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The chef was very kind and friendly. In general the variety of food is enough.
I will definitely recommend this hotel! Iâve spent nearly a month choosing from many hotels in Beijing and I was more than happy with my choice.

1. Housekeeping wise to ensure amentities to be refill
2. Perhaps can have shuttle service from hotel to âJiao Men Xiâ station. Walking around 5 to 10 minutes. Riding bike around 3 minutes. It just that especially with luggage, then you might face slight difficulties.

SSiew Yi MichelleA very pleasant siheyuan hotel inside an old Beijing residential area. Walking along the hutong allows one to get a glimpse of the lives of people living in the hutong. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and patient in attending to our queries on taking cab, operating washing machine, going to places of interests and railway station. The hotel is centrally located and walkable from the subway8 station which happens to be the last station (beixinqiao) of airport express subway. The room was clean. Though it is not very spacious, efficient use of available space helps us overcome this challenge. Though the hotel has limited amenities, whatever it offers is sufficient to make our stay a very pleasant one. An excellent choice for guest who want to experience staying in siheyuan.

GGuest UserThis was a wonderfully unique experience for us living in a (fully renovated) stone house in an ancient village at the foot of the Great Wall. March is a great time to visit if you prefer peace and quiet and few tourists. The inn is quaint and pleasant. The room is small and cozy, and the ambience, including the large bay window overlooking the street and the large wooden beams on the ceiling, makes you feel like you really are living in another era. The inn is located inside the Watertown, so you will need to walk a bit from the entrance of the Watertown. It is centrally located in the Watertown, so you are right in the middle of all the fun and activity. We really appreciated the free luggage service - you drop off your luggage at the entrance when you purchase tickets and enter the Watertown, and they bring your luggage to your inn. Once youâre done enjoying the Watertown and Great Wall, your luggage is waiting for you at the inn. Breakfast at the inn was absolutely delicious - highly recommend trying the wonton soup and the fresh soy milk!

MMaverick MakStayed 2 nights at Base Hotel Wangfujing. The hotel is located in the back alleys of âHutongâ quite close to Wangfujing Strret but to the Wangfujing Walking street is still quite a distance away.
The area is not porch by any means, but in a very local-back-alleys-narrow streets and if you are ok,then this hotel may be for you.
I booked a Studio Room, pretty spacious with a sleeping area, living, kitchen and bathroom. Though there is a kitchen but there is no utensils or any pots and pans. There is a microwave, kettle and a fridge though.
There is a kitchenette at B1 if you need to access to cooking facilities, also coffee and teas are available complimentary.
The pricing is very competitive and affordable. A great stay.
