Premier Inn Belfast City Cathedral Quarter

The window view was visibly mouldy, which not only affected the overall experience but also made the room feel unpleasant. I stayed for two nights and began feeling unwell during my stay—I strongly believe the mould may have been a contributing factor. The booking was for 2 adults and they only had 1 towel in the room. Had to ask the cleaners for an extra towel the following morning.

This Premier Inn is located in the middle of the cathedral quarter within easy walking distance of a huge range of pubs, restaurants and shops. Check in times can be very busy. Rooms are basic but have extremely comfortable beds and excellent showers so we had no complaints. Due to an issue with our room, we were given complimentary breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with what was on offer. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a short city break in Belfast.

Well located to walk for food and sights. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff went over and above when my 3 year old was struggling with time changes and being out on such a big adventure. David and Kirsty both went over and above to make sure we were having great experience. They saved the day more then once.

Big room, nice staff, central location but so, so noisy at night! The music at the bars nearby went on until 1 or 2 in the morning for the first two nights we were here and we could hear the words to all the songs - that’s how loud and close it was. The third night, a Sunday, was quieter. I thought the hotel room was really good, spacious, and the location was great for walking everywhere. We didn’t know the Cathedral Quarter was known for live music bars. If that’s what you want and you want to be out until 2am, it’s a perfect place. We didn’t want that and didn’t want the noise so wouldn’t stay here again although the hotel itself is good. Lots of places nearby to eat so we didn’t eat at Prem Inn.

I’ve been staying at this Premier Inn for the past week with a meal deal included in my booking. Every time I’ve tried to access the restaurant for dinner, one particular staff member has refused to let me in, saying I need to book in advance — even when the restaurant is nearly empty. Other staff, including the reception team, have consistently told me that no booking is needed and that I can join dinner whenever the restaurant is open. I’ve had no problems with anyone else — only this one staff member, who has made it unnecessarily difficult and uncomfortable for me to use the service I paid for, may be am an Indian that’s his problem . This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures that staff follow consistent, guest-friendly procedures.

Did not seem right. I checked in and the lady at the desk was suuuper nice… she suggested that I book a table at the restaurant. I tried and they told me they were fully booked - the strange part was that there were more empty table than I could count.. I ended up at another place that was easy to get into. We paid for a dinner but I couldn’t get in despite the restaurant being mostly open… very hard to understand???????
