Jaguar Creek

We only stayed one night here, but we should have booked longer! Beautiful location with excellent food and service! The trail on the property was lovely for morning bird watching and the creek was wonderful for swimming. The beds were also very comfortable.

Nice Place to Disconnect We wanted to disconnect a little and experience the rainforest and we could not have had a better place to stay. The cabana was beautiful, well unkept, and had everything we need. The staff was excellent and the food from the restaurant was more than we could eat. Tons of beautiful plants and birds, and the creek was a really nice place to relax and float.

I recently had the privilege of spending 2 days at this un-Belizably vibrant paradise. The attention to detail and welcoming staff make this paradise special. Evan, Canima, Darrel "best bartender/DJ in the jungle", Classic Expeditions - Jerson was so kind and knowledgeable. The pictures capture the beauty, and the experience was unforgettable. Thank you Carlos and all the staff. For anyone looking to unplug and get grounded with Mother Nature, look no further.

This is seriously one amazing hotel! The grounds are just stunning! The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated. I especially loved the hammock. I spent more than a few hours leisurely relaxing in it and reading. The food is absolutely incredible. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and every meal we had was delicious! Yessica (in the restaurant) knew our names from the 1st night on. She was so friendly and courteous. And a huge shout out to My main man Darrell!!! Making us some seriously yummy cocktails before dinner and one of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had out of the US. Seasoned to perfection! I would rate it 10/10 if I could!

Absolutely beautiful property and grounds, you feel very immersed in nature here, and can hear howler's and bird life in about every direction. The creek below is great for a dip, and the inland blue whole is an easy 15min stroll down the road (costs 4usd per person to enter) for more swimming. Cabins are rustic but clean and tastefully decorated. As someone not used to the humidity I would have loved the option of AC, lots of fans in the cabin but they don't do much in 30 Celsius. A great experience nonetheless, and cool to hear coconuts falling on the roof and animals making noise throughout the night. Bug nets cover the beds, but bugs weren't an issue when we visited. Our kid actually had a great time with some other kids staying here catching fireflies after dinner. Which speaking of which; the food was amazing, but the staff were even better! They made the whole experience. Especially Yessica and Kenima who knew us by name and made our son feel included; showing him how to fold the napkins at dinner, pointing out cool wildlife, and offering to take him for a walk when he was at the end of his rope after a long day. It honestly felt like we were a part of the family. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again next time, just would probably opt for the room with AC :).

I spent two nights here this week and really loved it. It is a small place (which is a positive and I like - I don't like big resorts) and you really feel like you are experiencing Belize. I stayed in the Tropical Breeze cabana and loved it. I was so sad tonight when I returned home not to be able to sit on my porch listening to the monkeys in the night or to be able to get up tomorrow morning and enjoy coffee listening to the birds and monkeys in the jungle. The folks that work there are so incredibly nice and accommodating. The grounds are GORGEOUS. If you want a small, intimate atmosphere in the jungle, this is your place!
