Pueblo Evita

We had an excellent stay for 28 days in May/June 25. The staff are excellent, with a special mention to Paulo and Oliver the lifeguard and pool attendant, plus the staff in the clubhouse, who could not be more friendly and helpful. Whilst the Pueblo Evita complex's are 30+ years old, and a bit worn in places, it is generally well maintained. A certain level of fitness is required to cope with all the steps (up to Evita Hill apartments and roof top pool and terrace), but this is offset by the fabulous views. The main pool area downstairs (Evita Club) is excellent. As mentioned, the staff are always helpful in the pool and clubhouse. NOTE: The rooftop pool (Evita Hill) is only open during peak season, so it was not available during our stay. The location was great for the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket and the train station.

We statyed in Evita Hill, but had use of all Evita club facilities. We had an excellent stay for 28 days in May/June 25, but that was in part because our host was very good and he kept his apartment to a good standard, plus he obviously paid the maintenance fees because we had no issues with using the Evita Club facilities and pool etc. In fact, the staff are excellent, with a special mention to Paulo and Oliver the lifeguard and pool attendant, plus the staff in the clubhouse, who could not be more friendly and helpful. PLEASE NOTE: Evita Club reception is NOT for availae to you if staying in Evita Hill, so don't expect a reception service, it's your host who should deal with everything for you. Ours was excellent. Whilst both the apartment and the Pueblo Evita complex's are 30+ years old, and a bit worn in places, it is generally well maintained. The kitchen area has all the basics required to prepare meals, plus a washing machine. The bathroom has had a high-quality refit with an excellent shower. We found the bed comfortable and the aircon works well. Very good Wi-Fi connection and the TV had about 6 UK channels. The main pool area downstairs is excellent. As mentioned, the staff are always helpful in the pool and clubhouse. NOTE: There is a second pool on the upper level, which is closer to the apartment, but this only opens during peak season, so it was not available during our stay. The location was great for the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket and the train station. Please don’t be put off by all the bads reviews but also make sure you book with a good owner/host like we did our you may be disappointed. Our apartment/host is highly recommended.

Here now and as owners we would have expected a better apartment! Stuck in a ground floor apartment looking at the pool and the back of the shops and restaurants on the front street. No sun on the terrace as it's totally enclosed! And don't get me started on trying to get a sunbed! People queuing at 9am to reserve their beds/spot it doesn't open till 9.30am! By 9.15 not one bed to be had! ridiculous!! We went to the beach as can't be bothered with this!

We exchanged into this Resort through RCI for 1 week. It is superb, beautiful mosaics, traditional Spanish features and furnishings. We were in a 1 bedroom unit, very comfortable and spacious in every area, immaculately clean with everything we needed. Reception people were very helpful and friendly and the Resort is very secure. Location is excellent with the beachfront and wide coastal walk 5 minutes away. The train station is about 10 minute walk as well as local bus service. Local shopping, bars, restaurants and a very good supermarket 2 minutes away. Would highly recommend.

Loved being here as it brought back memories from 10 years ago. Being older (mid 60’s) we found the steps to and from our apartment tiring at times but that’s what you get for being in a very nice area with all the bars and restaurants you can possibly want. A special mention must go out to the staff at “The Clubhouse”. Brilliant, supportive, accommodating and prepared to go the extra yard (metre) to make you feel welcome.
