First Hotel Bengtsfors

The staff was not present for check in and we had to wait a long time. Despite great weather the staff did not open the pool. Broken shower door and broken furniture at breakfast. Staff refused to put out more breakfast despite many guests arriving 15 min before breakfast closed, so we did not get proper breakfast or even coffee. This place needs to rethink.

Trevligt hotell. Helt ok skick men dörren var knepig att stänga och svår att veta om den var stängd. Plastmatta i badrummet är lite tråkigt men funkar.

Jättetrevligt läge med gratis parkering direkt utanför hotellet, fantastisk restaurang i direkt anslutning. Fin utsikt över sjön

It is sad because the lack of options in Bengtsfors makes this the only available hotel and because of that you would hope they at least tried to maintain a good standard but the rooms are timeworn and it could really use a renovation. There are no power outlets by the beds which to me, today is one of the worst things in a hotel room. The toiletpaper is almost like sandpaper because of its bad quality. We found spider webs in the bathroom and when the breakfast opened on saturday morning a lot was unprepared and the so called glutenfree corner was empty. The glutenfree corner consisted of bread, one would appreciate muesli or some other condiment, but no. The location is amazing and it is truly frustrating considering how much of a gem this hotel could be if the owner cared one bit.

Would highly recommend! Stayed one night on a motorcycle trip. Very helpful staff, great room, excellent food in the restaurant. Interior of the hotel had an old, classy feel and we were pleasantly surprised by this. Also: The bathroom had a separate shower room which we’d never seen in any hotel before and we loved it!

Ett enkelt smidigt och fräscht hotell! Jag kan rekommendera att bo på detta hotell. Det var enkelt, prisvärt och smidigt att ta sig till. Bra och väl tilltagen bra frukost. Rena och fräscha rum. Nöjd gäst som gärna återkommer
