Panorama Hotel & Restaurant

Das „Panorama“ ist sehr schönes Hotel an bester Lage, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Das Besitzerehepaar findet die richtige Mischung zwischen lockerem, humorvollen und sehr freundlichen Umgang mit den Gästen, und das Personal ist ebenso aufmerksam wie freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich aber zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Tüpfelchen auf dem i ist zweifellos der Wandschmuck, ein grosser, auf die Holzwand gebrannter Scherenschnitt, der bei der Rezeption in originaler Grösse bewundert werden kann. Diese filigranen Kunstwerke wurden von der Besitzerfamilie geschaffen. Das Restaurant überzeugt mit regionalen Spezialitäten und einem sehr guten Preisleistungsverhältnis. Wir waren zum ersten, aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal in diesem gemütlichen Hotel.

Splendid 2 night stay at the Panorama. Their rooms are newly renovated with Swiss charm and without a doubt... Swiss clean (spotless). Mattresses were firm and comfy. Sheets were soft. We had a north face room/standard and it was charming and spacious with fine, high quality detailing. You will notice the Swiss motif decoupage like" head board" above the bed. We enquired about it and it turns out the wife's father is quite a well-known artist who creates them. We felt very much appreciated as guests here. The owners, husband and wife were kind, friendly and helpful. I requested a water kettle and was brought one immediately with 2 coffee mugs. Perfect because we enjoy our hot water in the evenings. We had dinner each evening. Super fine , fresh ingredients. Everything was generous, tasty portions. We had chicken salad, shrimp salad, fries and cordon Bleu. The apple strudel was a burst of flavor with each bite. Breakfast which was included was a selection of cheese, 3 types of deli meat, bread, muesli, boiled eggs, croissants, bread, orange juice. Waitress will bring your coffee or tea to you. We ordered milk coffee and each time you get a small pitcher of steaming hot milk. Makes it taste so luxurious especially if you look out the window admiring the beautiful alps.They also offer to pick you up and drop you off from cable car station to hotel and vice versa to help with luggage. We only had a bag each with wheels so we didn't need it. Weather was gorgeous and the walk is only about 5 mins from cable car station Bettmeralp to the hotel.

Hôtel très chouette, fraîchement renouvellé, avec beaucoup de goût (chambres et SdB). L hôtel n'est pas très grand donc on y trouve aussi une certaine ambiance. Bettmeralp est à visiter, surtout surtout pour le glacier d Aletsch. Vous ne pourrez qu être époustouflé par ce géant ! De plus, le village se trouve à presque 2000 m d altitude sans voitures et ça c est magique ! Par contre et oui il y a un petit bémol, l on mange bien au restaurant de l hôtel (mais juste "bien"). N oubliez pas : vous êtes en Suisse.... et pour le raffinement dans l assiette il faut changer de pays...
