Beverley Budget Inn

Well don't moan our room was a Clean, comfy pillows not stained tea coffee . A fridge a microwave parking with permit large TV ensuite room . What do u want for the price location perfect. We have stayed in more expencive hotel and paint work as used smaller TVs this is a lovely place with no frills but frill a gem and prices appropriate

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Arrived at hotel to a sign we had to send a text message to a mobile number, after 5 mins we got a reply with a code for the key safe on the wall. Got into room and was in disbelief. Straight away a strong smell of urine coming from the room. Broken curtains, mould on the net curtains, dead bugs along the bottom of the window. Dust and dirt on the top of surfaces. Funky smell in the bathroom too. Rude manager. When spoken too he was almost patronising me. No customer service skills. Footsteps of someone walking around the gardens until 11pm right out side my window. The lowest I could score this was a 1 star, if I had the choice it wouldn’t have even got that. Terrible. I know it’s a budget inn but that wasn’t budget, very dissapointed!

Large house with plenty of rooms but apart from the odd door closing the only other noise was from the Minster hourly bells . We were in room 5 with a nice view over the park. Only negative was the bed was not comfy. But all in all a reasonable stay.
