Very clean and good air conditioning. Great water pressure in shower 💯 Walking distance to lots of good food and the commuter rail.

Very nice room with firm bed, I slept very well. It has stove, pots that you can cook food with Stop&Shop nearby. I would come back again.

I would not stay again. The outside of the complex looks great, not so much the inside, it needs renovation in a big way. The wifi was bad, had to go away from the complex to get any service. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure terrible. All in all, not great. It was good for location which was a determining choice option. The housekeeping staff on site were nice. I did not like the keyless contact as much as I thought I would. Would look for something else if we return to the area.

I visit North Shore, MA several times a year. Booked this trip on a whim and had minimal places to stay. I went on booking and saw this and for the first time, didn’t read reviews and wish I did. I just looked at the pictures the actual owners posted and it seemed like it was a decent place to stay. It was giving a boutique vibe and the price was decent for a last minute weekend in Beverly. First off there is no communication upon check in or or. It’s all contactless with texts from the owner and having to enter a code on the door. I booked a two queen bed and the beds were definitely not queen. I shared a bed with my four year old. He has a full size bed at home and this bed was definitely full size. I’m a 5ft 130 pound woman and he’s 30 pounds and it was right. We were on the “basement” level which was sketchy to say the least. The stairs were gross, unsafe and very tight. Very difficult to bring luggage down and walk down in general. The place as soon as you opened it smelled of very strong chemicals. Not a clean smell a smell that was nauseating and caused a migraine. The room itself smelled as if they were covering a faint smell of cigarettes and the visible mold. The furniture was very cheap. Not even IKEA worthy, the beds were so low to the ground and so uncomfortable. Only one person could fit in the bathroom and even that felt tight. You could shower, pee and wash your hands all at once. Mold, paint chipping everywhere and the ceiling was coming down. Upon leaving the “code” to depart didn’t work. I went to the main office where no one was. There was a kid walking around and I asked him if he worked there and for help. He seemed just as confused and didn’t know how to lock it either. The WiFi was terrible, and the locks didn’t work even when leaving. The place is just a run down motel that the owners failed very hard at with some more modern cheap furniture. Please do your research and stay elsewhere. Thankfully this was only for one night.

Perfect place to stop along our East coast trip. Super simple, quiet, and user friendly. Exactly what we needed! Surrounded by local and national historical spots.

We should’ve known that the building had problems with unsavory guests, based on the information that was necessary for room registration… unbelievable. You have to upload a picture ID and then take a selfie to prove that it’s really you…. Clearly they have problems. I called the hotel the day before our arrival to see if we could get into our room a little early. I explained that we had a formal event 30 mins away from the hotel. We needed to shower and get dressed. A 4pm check in would be cutting it close. The male desk attendant that I spoke with was just nasty, and less than helpful. We should have cancelled our reservation at that point. Add to all of the above the fact that the property is poorly maintained. We were placed in the room in the BASEMENT level. The room smelled of must and mold, that they attempted to mask with some type of air freshener. The floral smell of the air fresheners made the odor worse, nauseating really. The dank, mold smell was worse in the tiny bathroom, so we skipped showering. The stairwell to the basement level is narrow, dirty, and has frayed carpeting. (See photo) our bed frame had apparently been broken at some point and was instead supported by cinderblocks! Additionally, the neighboring building is a multi family, which has discarded kitchen appliances in the shared parking lot. Very sketchy. Stay away!
