"The outside of the hotel is very scruffy, but this is because it is in the process of being refurbished. The rooms themselves were excellent, clean , modern (although the see through toilet door is a bit kinky in room 4.)
Although being warned of the step inside the passageway to room 4 my wife tripped up it and the light needs improving or warning tape put on the step.
We had to bring the date forward of our visit due to the impending death of a near relative and was very disappointed in having to pay a surcharge of £48.00 per room for the convenience of doing this although we believe the hotel did not have any reservations for these rooms, so could have waived the surcharge.
We did not have occasion to eat at the hotel excepting for breakfast which was excellent. "

"The sea view room has a very good view and has a small attic. The price is really high, go out to the beach, the nearby restaurants are good! The boyfriend said that the first time in the UK, it was so cheap to live in such a big room. The room is old, but to be honest, all buildings in the UK are like this, and they are hundreds of years old."
