M-22 Inn Suttons Bay

It was horrifying. From the parking in which the owner said he could do nothing about (which was absent when we arrived), to the bugs and overwhelming musty smell that makes you gag when you enter, to insufficient supplies in the room ( no cups or coffee pot) to the melting inadequet ice maker outside the office to the impersonal greeting by phone when arriving to lack of keys for a party of two, to the excuses by the owner, when brought to his attention (our dissatisfaction) when leaving, I do not recommend anyone pay the price for what we did, for such a poorly taken care of and operative motel. I would add pictures, but there are too many to chose from and the phone can't smell.

A nice quiet place. Very clean even though it is an older Inn. The only thing I would have liked was an ice machine that would produce ice. Owner/manager had to fill the outside box with ice. We never did get any when we wanted it. It was nicely located to every place we were traveling too. Nice to have a small refrigerator. We would stay here again.

You have to call the office when you need fresh towels.Two messages left at the office and no clean towels delivered. Maybe third time will be the charm.The room is adequate. Nice to have a microwave and fridge . Really hoping for fresh towels!

If you are looking for high end luxury, room service and numerous amenities, this is not your place. We wanted a clean place to sleep and bathe near the TART trail so bike and visit wineries. This was perfect. We spent most of our time biking or at wineries so did not need a fancy hotel. Was quiet, clean, and safe. Is the perfect spot to get on the TART trail and bike to Traverse City and then enjoy the wineries on the return leg.

We stayed in #19, the Chalet. The cabin was clean and really quiet. The setting in the woods and the front and back decks are perfect for unwinding after exploring the area. The location is ideal, close to everything in the peninsula. I will recommend the M-22 inn to everyone I know.

This place is in perfect location. Out town about 15 mins. 15 mins from ******, and drive past that 10 mins be up top Pennuisla and light house. What I enjoy the most was it allows Pets and very quiet and middle-of-no where. Has a great spot to enjoy the water and sand beach. Gas station down road about 2 miles. I already been back once again.... clean, friendly, easy access, and great place for families and night to sleep peaceful.
