Ok so Riva Hotel, Loads and Loads of stairs, so if you have any motability issues (DON'T BOOK) was recommended by our Travel Agent, then we booked it ourselves as cheaper. So YES we were looking forward to the all inclusive this time as no kids. and just sun, pool, cocktails, massage's. 1st reception welcoming, smaller than imagined, we arrived late and was handed a stale bun too keep us going till morning. Thanks but no thanks. Room was directly above reception and our sea view was a tree view, Room 505. :( I went straight down to reception and asked to move.. They did at 11am next day, no issues. Moved to 308, nicer room and seemed cleaner. Balcony is tiny, breathe in when you try and get out if chairs in the way. Lovely view, still trees, but had a nice vantage point of the area. BUT TV doesn't work passed 1,3,5,7,9.13 and no English channels, aircon was hard work too. WI-FI patchy and inconsistent. Remember if you are buy as you go and not contract buy an eSim for TURKEY as EU doesn't work over there. Also no coffee or tea facilities in any of the rooms. Fridge loaded with cold water, which is a blessing, we also had small red wine and 2 glasses and a plate of fruit in new room, not in the other one though. Ok soo day one, main pool bar and swimming pool. pool clean, swimming floor and area around pool extremely dirty and very unkept, didn't know where too put my feet some days as was just filthy, there is a Little shop charging euros prices such a rip off? I really struggled when charging euro then converting to lira. 3 pools we ended our hols in the one on level -1, nice and quiet there and indoor bar area. The outdoor pool bar was great, just what you need, drinks on tap, staff were attentive and very well versed. It was nice and shaded in the covered area, with stunning views, was the highlight of the view. Evening entertainment, what entertainment, 1 eve of 3 girls dancing for about 15 minutes then fluffing their butts at the tables for money. Other nights was just a so called DJ, who thought playing with the bass levels, would make the music more inviting, it sounded awful and he played the same songs each night, so by 9pm you were like "again". Mostly Turkish, German or Russian music, these people were very well catered for in the hotel, not so much for UK or other English, Scottish speaking visitors and def the music was not aimed at us. Makes you feel 2nd best at times. Oh and the pool area has music playing from the bar all day,, which is lovely as nice and balanced, UNTIL 2pm when the DJ or bar staff turn it up so loud that the peeps sitting there on their sunbeds have to move, cant understand why, we have just eaten we don't want to be blasted for the next 4 hours, let us relax and close our eyes and have a nice chilled swim or read our book. leave the volume as it it. Food!!!!! Here it comes, get ready..... NEVER AGAIN (All inclusive for prison food) Pizza guy saved the day, every day, every
