The Penrhyn

This is a lovely small hotel the Owners are friendly and very attentive and helpful, Location is good the breakfast is great. We found the Owners were a source of useful information, Parking wasn't a problem we will definitely be coming back here again in the future.

Brilliant small hotel owned by 2 lovely, welcoming hosts Lawrence and Caron. Nothing too much trouble. Great location and amazing value for money. Highly recommend.

Me and my friend stayed here for 3 nights in twin room recently, the room was clean with mini fridge, kettle and plenty of complimentary tea and coffee etc, the shower was decent and the towels provided were thick and good quality. The hosts were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, they were very informative and always asked if we had enough tea/coffee in the room. The breakfast was lovely, piping hot tea and coffee was decent too, no complaints with the breakfast whatsoever. We sat outside the accommodation for an hour one afternoon on the seats at the front, nice little sun trap. Cliffs hotel tram stop is a 3-5 minute walk away from the accommodation so getting into the centre wasn't a problem with the frequent tram service provided. We'd definitely stay here again as we didn't have any problems at all.

We had a great experience at “The Penryhn”. Everything you need is there to make your stay pleasant. An authentic bnb with welcoming owners, plenty of chat and information, also very reasonably prices. The full english was delicious, it set us up for day. Nothing was too much trouble, our girl had just turned 13 (the reason we were there) and Caron had put some ballons n banners and sweets in the room for us arriving… Thank you again… Would also recommend for the location, and its very peaceful and quiet…

The owners were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. It was nice that the owners had time to chat, answer any queries and took time to explain where everything is with recommendations. The hotel is good value for money and in a lovely position in the North area where it is quite, which is ideal for me. There is provision of leaflets for attractions and a lovely front garden. Close to the seafront and tram/buses. Extra items for the rooms were given on request and it is clean.

Lovely treat for us New Zealander's to stay in a real little English BNB. We felt really welcomed and at home here. Breakfast was the best :) and they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we could possibly want or need for breakfast. The room was comfortable and had the lovely personal touch of cookies, hot chocolate for the kids etc. the property is in a fantastic spot with the tram stop just down the road. Love all the helpful information about things to see and do. If you want the personal touch , to feel more than just a number, than come here. Even the cat Gary made us welcome in his home !
