Iam shocked that this hotel is allowed to trade as we have become so health and safety conscious. My main concern was no fire exits no evacuation plan in the room and windows opened so wide that not only a child could fall from but also an adult. I addressed my concerns and I was informed that all the doors are fire proof for 35 minutes so when I asked what would happen if the fire broke out in the hall way how could we safely get out? I was asked what room I was staying in I told him # 5 on the first floor his reply was astonishing he went on to explain how I could open the window and wait I told him I couldn't possibly jump out to which he told me a fireman would get a ladder and get me out now just imagine all 19 rooms over 3 floors waiting while your safe from the fire for 35 minutes then your fire door goes on fire not to mention you would probably die before that due from smoke inhalation but not to worry as the window in room 5 opens fully and for convenience sake they have the bed placed directly under the window just to make it easy for the child to fall from. All this was said in complete conviction as he genuinely believed every word he said including how the hotel met with all fire regulations. Well if that's honestly the case I think any prospective guests should be made aware of this also take onboard that the hotel is not managed from 11pm to 10 am.thats not a problem if all rooms were made aware that there is no evacuation plan and whatever you do make sure you do in 35 minutes because after that your toast as you are left to your own devices . Would I return? No because I value my life.

This rating is because on arrival we had three separate rooms . Each one wasn’t as I expected rooms to be presented on arrival . My room didn’t have any mugs for coffee. They were two finished toilet rolls and no new ones . The toilet seat wasn’t on securely and the tap on the basin again wasn’t secure. It was a great location but the parking was on a first come first served basis but you could get blocked in or blocked other guests in . The manager/ guy on reception said you had to take the number plate number and txt guest if you needed to move or likewise they would need to txt you . We didn’t use this option . This was charged at £7.00 per day . There was a parking lot behind hotel which was a better option and didn’t include being blocked in .

Great family room overlooking the Irish Sea. Plenty of room and a well equipped shower room. Communal toilet has heated seat, wow factor. Nice bar area overlooking sea, folding back doors make it feel like you’re outside. Overall a good value place to stay.

I thought it was really nice at first but then I noticed all the dust everywhere, couldn’t use the kettle because it was full of dust and limescale especially where the water is supposed to pour out it was also rusty. We couldn’t see through the windows unless they were fully open which caused flies because of the rubbish outside and there was no view apart from rubbish. The room was supposed to be a family room for two adults and two children it was more like a room for two people the bunk bed sounds likes it was going to fall apart everytime my children got on it and the double bed a little bit bigger that a single bed and was very uncomfortable. Also had a cleaner just walk in on us and I complained about it but the excuse I got was that she had mistaken the 8 on the rota for a B because of poor handwriting which didn’t make sence because all the rooms were numbers not letters. I did receive a verbal apology from the manager and was given one round of free drinks but because we didn’t drink them straight away they ended up with little flies in the drinks so we were unable to drink them anyway. I really wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially if you have children. The manager seemed nice at first but after I made the complaint I felt like his attitude changed towards me even when I asked for a fan and clean towels and sheets for the beds it seemed to be a hassle. Last of all I brought a chocolate bar out of the vending machine and it was two months out of date.

Great hotel! The hotel is modern. Had a beautiful view of the ocean from the front view. We had paid extra for the upstairs room which came with a jacuzzi bath. Everyone was amazing and to a high standard. Only down thing was when we would attempt to draw a bath and put the jets on, gunk from the jets came out. We made the reception aware of this and they got someone into clean it and although it wasn’t completely clean after they had been we still enjoyed everything else and they compensated with a couple of free drinks which we appreciated.

Would happily stay again Great location Stayed in family room. Great value
