From the outside this pub looked very basic but we were pleasantly surprised at the immaculate bedroom and delicious food that was served from the restaurant. The staff at this hotel work very hard with nothing being too trouble even catering for food on the nights the restaurant was closed

This Hotel is a wee Gem in a beautiful part of the world. We were staying just up the road so came in for drinks, lunch and dinner at various times across our stay. The staff are excellent, the welcome is warm, the food is lovely and the beer is cold…what more can you ask for!! Not many places would be so welcoming and accommodating to an 8 month old puppy, but they couldn’t do enough to make us welcome. We will be back, and hopefully very soon.

The Glenisla Hotel is a lovely, quiet place in a great setting. We only stayed one night- but wished we had been able to stay longer. The arrangemebts for booking in for parking and for room access were all really convenient. The room was cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Iy was a comfy bed too. We really liked having fresh milk to make tea( so few places provide this) and the range of breakfast options was perfect. We will definitely consider another stay here when we are next on the area.

We had a great stay at the Glenisla Hotel. The room was fresh and clean. The bed was so comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. The shower had good water pressure and toiletries. The breakfast snacks provided in the room were great and we also went down to the breakfast area in the restaurant to have cereal, toast and coffee. The staff were excellent. Ample car parking. I would thoroughly recommend a stay in the Glenisla Hotel.

This hotel is a lovely pitstop if you are touring/walking/cycling in the area. The rooms are very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. However, the hotel only serves food a few days a week. Around these times, you can use the dining room to picnic. Breakfast consists of instant porridge, toast, cereal and fruit. It felt a little odd to be let loose in a hotel but it was OK. Overall, a good stay.

A very warm welcome and extremely comfortable stay . Great food with extremely generous portions. Beautiful part of Scotland so may the most of your time in that part of glen. We will most definitely stay again and would recommend to others .

The Glenisla hotel is a cracking little place to stay in a fab location. The room was spacious for a single, the bed was comfortable and it was very good value for money. Even though the bar and restaurant were closed for much of the time I was there, food was still provided in a freezer and it was very tasty. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone exploring the area, and particularly the nearby Glenshee Munros.

Hotel is in a lovely quiet, rural location in Glen Isla, and was perfect for me tackling Munro’s in Glen Shee. Room was very comfortable and all staff I had contact with were hospitable, accommodating and down to earth. Breakfast was self service but plentiful, also staff were good at keeping you topped up with room breakfast options and snacks. The restaurant and bar were very good and although not available on Monday and Tuesday evenings there were some options if you didn’t bring anything yourself. Overall I would certainly recommend to others.

What an absolutely fabulous wee hotel. The staff were so welcoming and accomodating, especially Michelle, who remained friendly and professional despite being run off her feet. There's a good selection of whisky in the bar, and the steak pie was delicious.
