Do not use Green Motion car rental. Lengthy waits for shuttle bus and rude staff when I queried how long it would be. Was told ‘you can walk in 7 minutes’!!! Unbelievable…., the staff have a couldn’t care less attitude. When I finally got to the industrial unit there were long queues. 4 terminals with just 2 of the 4 staff working. I got a bad feeling about this outfit - it’s set up like a scam. The people next to me left because they had paid using AMEX online only to be told they would be charged extra each day of their rental. The manager was so rude to them and totally unhelpful. When I returned my car, they found a tiny scratch on the back which I couldn’t see. They charged me an astronomical £280 for this! I was fortunate to have insurance to cover this. The wait for the return shuttle was ages and it was raining. Two staff members stood outside but neither of them opened the boot for our luggage or the bus doors. Green Motion are a dreadful rental company. Don’t use them. 0/10
