Premier Inn Bodmin

We stayed one night at the Bodmin Premier Inn as part of a trip around Cornwall, and it was just what we needed – no frills, but clean, comfortable, and in a great location. What really stood out was the friendly and helpful service at reception. We had a small issue booking our next hotel, and the lovely young lady on reception went out of her way to help us sort it out. She also gave us some great suggestions for places to visit nearby. A good overnight stop with fantastic service – would recommended!

Great hotel, fantastic location and has everything you could need, family room was spacious and clean and beds were comphy. We stayed here for one night as a stop over and would defiantly come back, staff were friendly and helpful and was easy to check in and out.

We arrived on saturday evening and our room was sweltering! We had our 9 week old with us. We were doing everything we could to try and keep it cool but it kept getting hotter and hotter, ended up being 24C which isnt suitable for a baby. We asked about the heat and they said to just put a fan on or open a window. then the next night it was absolutely ridiculous! i went down and complained and the other lovely receptionist explained that we were placed on top of the kitchen machinery which is why the room is extremely hot! She was nice enough to move us to a cool room downstairs but its unacceptable with a baby. Then with the new room we went to walk through the door with my daughter and a bit of the frame of the door fell off and nearly hit us! Then failed to mention about setting off the fire alarms for a practice and when i went out there with my baby who was petrified a lady said that theres usually a sign put out but someone moved it. Safe to say im really not impressed this visit! First time staying away with my new baby and it was awful. Never felt so unsettled. will not be coming back to this hotel.

The hotel is lovely. It is super quiet and in a great location (next to Asda & B&M) the rooms are spotless if not a little dated. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble! The restaurant is in the same building and food and service are both great!

Clean Hotel but everything looking a little tired. Food good, staff friendly. Room was a tad musty. Slightly disorganised ( we booked tables for meals but somehow the booking had evaporated!, Felt a bit understaffed when busy. it appeared that some room doors were left ajar, not sure why and one is was trashed j(ust before our friends arrived).

Excellent staff and very good value however the hotel is tired and the common areas need refurbishing. The outside of the building could do with repainting. It is a budget hotel but there is a general air of lack of investment on the plus side the room was spacious and comfortable.
