Top notch! I'm a 71-yr-old female solo traveler, and this place is perfectly located, extremely clean, serves very good breakfast 'til noon, good dinner 'til 9pm, and staff is attentive and helpful. I totally enjoyed the walking tour, the graffiti tour and the food tour; I learned a lot! The sleeping area is well separated from the lobby and socializing areas, and is REALLY quiet. During my four-day stay, I never had to wait for a toilet or a sink or a shower, in the area where those amenities were shared. Guests were all friendly and considerate; no "cranky crocs" or cranky people to be found! Note to guests with mobility issues: you should ask for a private room to fit your needs, as there are some which are on the first floor and not around the uneven courtyard floor. A lot of hostels in Bogota are a little worn around the edges. This place is a dream. If you are on a budget or not, deftinitely consider staying here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the australian owner is a perfectionist and its in a great location to see the sights. Its brand new, when we were there they were about to open a bar at the front but don't worry, the walls between the music and the bedrooms are super thick and you won't hear a thing.

I arrived in Bogota to study Spanish and to see Bogota. Through this site I understood it was a great hostel. That's it for many people i think. If you are young (or not), love going out, drinking, *****, then it's great. Such an atmosphere hung there when I staid there. Not many ladys, many drinking young man (inglish, american). But at the other hand, didn't meet many woman travellers through all of Colombia. The hostel looks pretty amazing. My room was small and I regretted that there was no shower in my room. Such rooms are available, but a few. It was very cold. In Colombia, no one has a heater! My room is adjacent to the open air, so it was extra cold. What I liked was that at night a door was closed at the bar area. Then you could sleep well. There is a kitchen, internet and TV area. The hostel is nearly always full so book early! The breakfast is only after 9 0 clock, so if you want to start early in the morning, not useful. It is located in a nice neighborhood, within walking distance of the bus, Montserrat around the corner etc. The staff is nice, but because it is large, they have little personal interest. You are one of many. I felt a little lonely on my own. It was too big and poky to quickly gain insight into fellow travelers. A bit of every man for himself. After a week I moved, not my thing.

We were in the private room with shared bathroom until another couple showed us their brand new renovated private room with private bath that was $30,000 COP more or $10 USD. No photos on the site yet so see photos in the post. Rooms 204 & 205 have the best views of both Monserrat and the new Bacata/tallest building. It was like a luxury hotel for Hostel price! Love the atmosphere here, the cleaning staff is diligent and Isabella the night desk clerk is such a sweetheart and wonderful to interact with. Great location, cheap and decent breakfast, great place to meet other travelers and learn of things to do in the area. Free walking tours everyday, great cheap way to learn about the city and hang with other travelers. Hangout room separated by 2 separate double doors so easy to get rest while others have fun, or visa versa. Security is great with a hired guard. Highly recommend, wouldn't think of searching for another Hostel when we return next year. Side note, the Crazy Mongolian Restaurant across the street is amazing! Thanks to all for a wonderful stay.
