We had an amazing time at the lodge. Excellent facilities, amazing & friendly staff. The Safari arrangements were very safe, secure and perfect. We even enjoyed a Kids’ friendly safari.
The food was provided timely and they always had vegetarian options for us.
Overall - highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivory Tree Lodge.. the food and accommodation were excellent but what really made the trip exemplary was the over and above effort that our Ranger Lee Destefanis made to ensure we saw each and every big five... and many animals beyond that. Lee's knowledge is remarkable and integral to knowing where and when to look to see the amazing array of animals in the national park surrounding the lodge... On each of the three days our safari vehicle was the first out and the last to return, given that Lee was determined to ensure we had the best possible holiday and saw the most birds and animals.

Ivory Tree Game Lodge is a beautifully located and well-appointed hotel, offering an immersive safari experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the game drive, led by our guide Selby, who was truly excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the wildlife and environment. However, the overall experience was slightly let down by the meal service, which was unfortunately very slow and somewhat disorganised. While the food itself was of a good standard, the delays and lack of coordination detracted from what could have been a seamless dining experience. That said, the stunning setting, comfortable accommodation, and exceptional game drives make it a worthwhile destination, especially if the service issues are resolved

We have had a lovely relaxing and luxurious stay for 5 nights. The staff are wonderful, super friendly, attentive and remember even the smallest details - the management team go out of their way to make sure you are getting the most out of your stay as well. Vumile was a fantastic, energetic and dedicated game guide and we really enjoyed going on our ten drives with him - we got to see so much of the park and a real diversity of wildlife. Food is really delicious and diverse, we enjoyed every meal - the breakfast selection in particular is impressive, and we enjoyed mixing it up with a couple of outdoor boma buffets too! You definitely won’t go hungry here between the three delicious meals and the pre and during game drive snacks and drinks! Rooms were spacious with touches of luxury, and kept spotless twice a day too! We had two treatment sessions at the spa and it was such a relaxing and upscale experience. Overall, we have had a delightful few days and would highly recommend everything!

We spent an extended weekend away and chose Ivory Tree Lodge. The staff are very attentive and polite. The meals are great, well done to the chef. The accommodation is very comfortable, The location to the park is ideal. We also chose to go on two self drives and on both occasions, we saw plenty of game. May be best to do a midday drive in Winter to get the best sightings. I will recommend this destination to all wanting to go to the Pilanesberg. We'll go again.

This was not my first trip to the game Lodge I’ve been visiting regularly over the past 10 years and each time I found their standard of quality and service to be exceptional.
