The hotel only focuses on the visual design, but it is flashy and not practical! I felt that I had chosen the right place when I checked in, but I would never stay there again after I stayed there! Hotels should still be people-oriented. There are many inconveniences when staying there. You can only hang 3 or 4 pieces of clothes. There is no place to dry clothes after washing. The hot water is not hot. The drain is higher than the door. The water is stored and flows to the toilet area next to it. There is no place to put any bags or suitcases. They can only be thrown on the ground. There is only one chair in the double room. Alas, if the designer himself lives there, he will probably complain about himself!

I discovered upon arrival that the hotel is located outside the scenic area, but luckily I had bought a 24-hour unlimited entry/exit pass. However, the hotel's location did not impact the views in the slightest. While it was too dark to see anything at night, the morning scenery was truly breathtaking. The hotel is right on the edge of Sayram Lake, offering views of both the mountains and the lake. It would have been perfect if the hotel could have upgraded our room type to one where we could see the starry sky, though of course, that also depends on the weather. The hotel provided a complimentary breakfast. Overall, we found the room type to be good value for money. Our stay experience was excellent, and our child absolutely loved it.

When I came to Sailimu Lake 10 years ago, I stayed in a herdsman's tent. Now when I come again, there are hotels and homestays everywhere near the east gate. Although the scenic area is fenced off and charges a fee, the conditions are much better. Based on Ctrip's recommendation, I chose Shenmu Bluebird because it is the off-season and the price of 500 (excluding breakfast) is acceptable. Let me talk about the good things first: it is very close to the east gate of Saihu Lake, the lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic, because the location is not easy to find, check the navigation in advance. Because the temperature of the room we booked first was a bit low, the lady at the front desk was very considerate and upgraded it to a loft, which made the room bigger and warmer. But there are also some shortcomings. If the price is 2,000 during the peak season, there will definitely be complaints. First of all, the hygiene needs to be improved. Maybe because the room is large, some facilities are dusty. In addition, a hair was found on the bed sheet. The handsome room boy quickly helped us change the bed sheet. The bathroom smells a bit bad, which is quite unacceptable. Another thing is that there were ”holes” in two places in the room (see the last three photos). It was probably because it was the off-season and they were still renovating and upgrading. But my wife is particularly afraid of mice, so she is quite worried. But because we checked in late and upgraded the room, we didn't give any more feedback.

It is not big, but it is clean and bright. It is just that we are given a room on the first floor. We will be woken up by other early travelers passing by in the morning. The sound insulation is average. Hygiene: The room is relatively clean and the disposable toiletries are also complete. Environment: It may be still under construction. There is a pile of building materials on the right side after entering the gate, which is unsightly. It is recommended to deal with it. Service: The front desk staff is quite enthusiastic. They said that they upgraded the room type and gave breakfast for free, but they did not say this to everyone. It remains to be verified. Catering: I will focus on complaining about the breakfast. It is said to be free. In the restaurant, it is actually like a place for a big banquet. The environment is acceptable and looks cleaner. The dishes include pickles, cold dishes, two or three hot dishes, etc. Among them, the few meat dishes are celery beef, which tastes like beef slices in the supermarket. I was a little disappointed when I got the staple buns and small flower rolls. They were pre-made, but they were still cold when I put them in my mouth. I really can't stand it. Have you considered the feelings of customers? In summary, I understand that the room rate of Sailimu Lake will be more expensive during the holidays, but for a hotel of 1,099 yuan a night, eating cold rice is really unacceptable.

The room was nice and warm when we checked in at night. We could take a shower as soon as we checked in, but the second person might have to wait a while. Saw a beautiful sunset. You can turn on the heater when you go to bed at night, but it will still be a bit cold in the second half of the night.

We stayed in a suite in a separate building. There were no disposable slippers in it, so it was not very convenient to find a waiter! Breakfast was average. The trouble is that the hotel thinks that the invoices belong to Ctrip, so they went back and forth but it was all solved! 400 yuan is not bad compared to tourist attractions, but it is still a little expensive for the above!

Lake Sailimu is so beautiful that I forgot to take pictures of the hotel. The hotel is at the north gate of Sailimu Lake. Generally, tour groups will enter the ring from the east gate and then go out to the north gate. I suggest that you enter the north gate and exit at the east gate, so you can avoid the large troops.

The overall accommodation conditions in Saihu may be average. I chose this hotel based on reviews. I didn't expect much, so I thought it was okay. The advantages are good location, good service, good hygiene, and good breakfast. The disadvantages are that the room is really small and there is no TV. Due to the natural conditions of the lake area, there is no natural gas, and the hot water is heated by a water heater. The hot water can only be heated for 20 minutes each time. However, at a price of more than 400 yuan in Saihu, what else do you want? It is definitely not comparable to the city or county. I saw many hotels under construction in the scenic area.
