I loved the historical and unique artistic interior It had a lovely atmosphere both inside And outside we were able to enjoy a beautiful terrace at the sister hotel It was lovely breakfasting there And enjoying a drink or meal in the evening We especially appreciated all the staff who were so friendly and helpful Always willing to help or give advice and making us feel relaxed It was such a welcome respite from the city I would definitely recommend this hotel

The staff were lovely and welcoming, were always there to answer any questions and give local recommendations. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. And the hotel itself is in a great location, near to good shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 4 nights and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. It's in a quiet location, but not too from the main places of interest, restaurants and shops. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean. We hope to return to Porto one day, and would stay at The Editory Artist!

Hotel is very clean but had a smell in the common hallway. The room got really hot, had to completely turned off the fan unit and opened the windows. Hotel staff was very helpful to where the recommended attractions to go to. What restaurants and what type of local food they had at the different restaurants. Great to have bottle water provided each day.

Das Hotel hat eine Kooperation mit der lokalen Tourismushochschule wodurch sich nette Interaktionen mit den im Hotel eingesetzten Schülern ergeben. Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet wird wechselweise im hoteleigenen Restaurant und im Nachbarhotel angeboten. Auf Wunsch wurde ein ausgezeichnetes Egg Benedict zubereitet. Hervorzuheben ist außerdem das Hotelrestaurant A Escola, wo ein mehrgängiges Überraschungsmenü auf Fine-Dining-Niveau angeboten wird. Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es auf der gesamten Iberischen Halbinsel einen Stromausfall. Das Hotel hat darauf in einzigartiger und umsichtiger Weise reagiert, indem ein BBQ bei Kerzenschein organisiert wurde. Das Personal hat damit außergewöhnliche Problemlösungsfähigkeiten bewiesen. Hut ab!
