The Greenleaf Inn is a lovely two- building inn with shared common areas, clean, updated rooms with gorgeous Harbor views. It is located within walking distance to all the local restaurants, shops and harbors. The innkeeper is the heart of the place; warm, welcoming, full of energy and constantly moving. The bed was a bit too soft for my husband, but otherwise the room was nice. There are two full kitchens where you can make yourself a cup of coffee/tea, find fresh fruit, yogurt or pastry. You can store your grocery items and have a meal at the dining room table. There are shared living rooms and decks with beautiful views.

Couldn’t ask for a better host, space and location. Everything about our stay was perfect. From the fabulous host, John (Jersey), to the stocked kitchen, to the s’mores campfires and finally the beautiful lodging;, we wouldn’t change a thing. We will be back next spring for sure.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was the perfect experience for our time in Boothbay. We enjoyed the close proximity to all the shops and restaurants, we didn’t even need to get in the car the entire time we were here. The small parking lot outside was fantastic because the street parking can get a little tricky. Our host was incredibly friendly and had a recommendation or connection for anything we could need. The shared kitchen was fantastic and always had a great selection of pastries and snacks to choose from. Our room was so cute and kept the charm of some of the original house while adding some updates for comfort. We will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at the Greenleaf Inn and are still talking about it. John is an exceptional host, who is friendly, down to earth, and goes out of his way to ensure your stay is great. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. The upper deck is amazing. And all of the little things truly added up- water in the fridge, snacks on the counter, firepit, croquet, fresh flowers. We look forward to returning.

What a wonderful historic place that's been outfitted with modern conviences yet holds its charm of yesteryear. John/Jersey who runs the place gave it a very personal touch from start to finish. I also witnessed how connecting to the local community and supporting their businesses was important to him. If you're looking for a special getaway with great views, nightly campfires (complete with s'mores), in a quaint town, this is your place.

I had Maine on my bucket list for a while. Finally made it. I did my research and came across Greenleaf Inn. All I can say is, a dream come true. It was way beyond our expectations. The most picturesque location you could ever wish for. Inn is gorgeous. Completely renovated very tastefully. The Inn manager, John known as (Jersey) was the most caring, pleasing human we’ve ever encountered. He organized the most amazing lobster bake on site for our group which was out of this world. Breakfast at the inn etc. not a single detail overlooked. Boothbay Harbor is like out of a story book and this Inn was the icing on the cake.

We stayed at Greenleaf just before purchasing our own place in Boothbay Harbor. Jersey, the manager, is on top of every detail and helped us in innumerable ways during our stay. He knows everything about the area and is the ultimate host. Greenleaf is very centrally located and you can walk everywhere, too. Thanks Jersey!
