Boracay Peninsula: Beachfront Beauty, Let Down by Neglect The Boracay Peninsula has one undeniable strength: its beachfront location. The easy access to the beach and the stunning sunsets were truly lovely. However, the rest of the experience was sadly disappointing. The hotel itself is showing its age significantly. The rooms are outdated, and the bathrooms were particularly problematic. Not only were they worn and in need of repair, but they also had a persistent unpleasant odor that made sleeping difficult. We requested a room change on our second day, a request that was met with a distinct lack of apology or even acknowledgement of the problem. The staff were polite, but their lack of concern was noticeable. Adding insult to injury, the pool was visibly dirty and unusable. It's a real shame, because the location is fantastic. But the combination of outdated and unclean rooms, the uncaring response from the staff (the lack of apology stung), and the dirty pool created a very negative experience. The potential is there for this hotel to be wonderful, but significant improvements are desperately needed. I give it a 2 out of 5 stars.

Nice location because it's a beach front hotel and located at station 2 for a reasonable price. The room is quite big and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Room are too old, no hotel service at all the price was too high for the kind of room, no one cleaning and freshen up or even collecting rubbish in the room, too many mosquitos and even cockroach in the room. This hotel needs total make over if i am the owner.

The hotel is quite old. There were mosquitoes in my room. The only upside here is the location as it is beach front.

The location is perfect because it is at the center of station 2. It is very near to most bars, restaurants, shops and the dmall. The aircon is really cold excellent. The shower is perfectly working like they have heater and spacious bathroom. The only thing we have noticed is it is not a very new hotel like the others. The floors and tires are old and hairs are somehow everywhere. The bidet in our room is not working and the room to the balcony is hard to open. The pool is now converted into a bar. But overall it was a very nice stay. The staff are nice, the price is reasonable actually it is perfect for the budget and thè breakfast inclusion is a treat.

Hotel with responsive and very friendly staff! Conveniently located (the sea is within walking distance; there are various cafes on the territory, where they cook well). The only downside is that the hotel is in dire need of cosmetic repairs.

We arrived at noon. Check in was easy although early check in was not available which was ok since we still have yet to have lunch anyway. Location wise, its nice becuase its a beach front hotel. However, getting to the hotel from the port and vice versa is a challenge since the nearest access road is under construction and you will have to carry your luggage for around 70 - 150 m depending on which access road you are coming from (mandarin or peri peri). Also, there were no staff to assist us with our luggage as we checked out early (around 6 am) and the front dest staff cannot leave to assist us as he was alone. Beach is accesible and the hotel is around 450 m from D’mall. You can walk to station 1 and station 2 with the same effort so you have access to all the bars and resto’s as well. Theres a small pool and there were water and toiletries available. Not sure if its just us but water and toiletries were not replenished, towels not replaced and room was not cleaned but to be fair, we did not make any request for it. (Was expecting standard hotel service). With the location, i can say it helped with the Bora experience as we can easily come and go to the hotel whenever we need anything as it is a beach front location. Overall, we would recommend staying at Boracay Peninsula. Room is reasonably priced considering the location and amenities. We may book again if ever we get the chance to visit bora again and get the same or better deal on the room. (3 adults / 1 Child)
