Amazing Place to Enjoy with your family. Peaceful place, Natural place. Must have to visit. Staff is very friendly and owner also have professional experience to make good continental food. The rooms as well nearby lake environment is very peaceful. As well they have very big place for events and parties at lake side. Tents and bonfire is also there. So, totaly stress free service from staff. Must visit with your family and friends.

The lake and the hills are fantastic. But don't go if you don't like being the ONLY tourist at the lake. We were told business was going only at Christmas and Easter. We stayed for 2 nights and met no one. Apart from being deserted, the resort suffered from power cuts. One was several hours long. The staff tried to make up for it by bringing fresh coconuts to our bungalow ... :=)

Wildwin is the best place to have fun with friends and families. I mean the place is neat and kept, their services was intact, their food was superb - real African dishes and continental dishes, it was mouth watering. Their servers were also funny with their mixed English and local dilect. Tho their road was a bit challenging....because of the rains since its un-tiled. Aside that, its lovely to spend time there.

We came to Wildwin Resort with the very positive reviews in mind, but leave rather disappointed, given the price of 500 Cedi per night. No wonder we were the only guests around. First of all: Lake Bosontwe and its surroundings are incredibly beautiful. The resort itself, although situated nicely, has seen much better times. About ten years must have passed after the last proper renovations, and while the structure is still falling apart, the service seems to be gone already. Pros: + beautiful site + clean room, sheets and towels + 10% discount after our complaints Cons: - Price much too high - Very remote, bad road from Kuntenase (the drive from Kuntenase costs 50 Cedi per way) - Half current/no power and no light all through the night - Air condition old and rattling like hell - Mattresses wrapped in plastic and hard as rock - Construction works in front of the window from 6am on - Very bad maintenance of the structure - Litter/Trash on the premises - Little English spoken - Restaurant: very expensive given the small choice on the menu and the very average cuisine

I would never come back to this place. The young man who checks you in and seems to do most of the work at the place is really nice, and dinner was decent, but everything else is lacking and the experience was generally uncomfortable. The actual space for relaxing is not nice (the covered lounge area by the kitchen was filled with smoke while the areas by the lake were blocked by tents/camping vehicles so it felt intrusive to hang out there), the rooms are sparse and you can hear all the noise outside the rooms from other guests; the bed is OK but the pillow was terribly uncomfortable, there was no handle on the bathroom door and there was no hot water. There is nothing to do; the only drinks on offer are warm; and walking to the next village is unadvisable as there is nothing available and you will just be harassed. There are much better options in the area for a better or similar price. We couldn't wait for the night to end so that we could leave.
