"A strange smell upon entering the room. No electrical outlets at the headboard. No courtesy tray with a kettle, coffee, or tea. In the bathroom, the cups aren't vacuum-sealed. The bathtub drains poorly, and a strange smell occurs when the water runs. The same smell as upon entering the room. No air conditioning, but a fan sits on the desk. The doorbell doesn't work. As a result, the door stays open if you don't close it. Breakfast-wise, for almost €10, you'd expect better. No omelet or grilled ham. It's really basic. This is still a decent hotel for the price, but it deserves a refresh and some maintenance."

"We have stayed at the Novotel Bourges many times over the years, usually as an overnight stop when travelling through France, and our experiences have sometimes been a little hit or miss. On this occasion, however, our stay on the journey South was a good one. The hotel was extremely busy, particularly on the Friday evening, but there was still a nice atmosphere about the place. The bar was very busy but was well staffed and service remained friendly and efficient despite the number of guests. Our rooms were spotless, well appointed and clearly modernised to a good standard. We had a comfortable night's sleep and everything in the rooms was as it should be. Breakfast the following morning was equally busy, but the buffet was well stocked and very well managed. Staff were constantly replenishing items and keeping everything moving, which was impressive given how busy the hotel was. The one significant downside was the parking. There was absolutely nowhere available in the hotel car park when we arrived and we eventually had to park on a grass verge, which wasn't ideal. There also appeared to be a number of vehicles in the car park that looked as though they may have been there for some considerable time. For a hotel that attracts so many guests travelling by car, the parking situation could certainly do with being looked at. Overall though, a good stay on this occasion. The hotel was busy but well run, the rooms were excellent and the staff remained friendly and welcoming throughout."

"We had a double room, which is great when traveling as a family with children. On the downside, the bathroom and toilet are in the same place and very cramped. The bedding isn't very comfortable; the pillows are soft, and I woke up with neck pain. The mattress is very thin and placed on a box spring. There's a restaurant/bar next to the hotel; we didn't try it, but it's a nice bonus. Overall, it's fine for one night to break up a long journey, but not for anything longer."

"Hotel was fine for a stopover. We had a quadruple room as was a family of four. Air conditioning was nice during the heatwave but sadly our children were hot upstairs sleeping on the mezzanine level as the air con didn’t reach up there. There was a small fan however, Bedding and bathroom clean. Parking outside was a plus. All in all, perfect for a night’s stopover,"

"اقامة جيدة، نأسف حتى الثالثة ظهرا، لا يوجد موظفين يشترون التفتيش في الدخول للفندق من خلال شاشة الكمبيوتر. لكن الصعوبة تذكر اسم الفندق الذي حجزته بأرقام الحجز لا يمكن استخدامها للتأكد من الحجز. نظرا لأن الفندق يغير رقم الحجز والاسم الذي تم حجزه الى جناح جديد بدون اي ملاحظه اذن لا تستطيع اتصال الفندق لإعلامك بتسجيل الدخول ثم تقوم أنت بدخول جهاز التحكم بالشاشة عند باب الفندق وتعبئة رقم الحجز والاسم الذي يستخدم من قبل الفندق. ثم اتبع الخطوات ثم تدفع ضريبة المدينة 1.98 يورو لكل غرفة، ثم تحصل على رقم الغرفة ورمز الباب."
