Eagle's Nest is amazingly positioned behind Matlacha and Pine Island. While on the third floor of Eagle's Nest you can see the Lighthouse of Matlacha. Many fish, crabs and all sorts of wildlife travel through the streams of Matlacha and Pine Island Sound to the Spreader of the canal. Manatees and Dolphins come to the canal from the Gulf of Mexico. When your fishing you can expect an amazing experience using light tackle and a simple kayak.
