Hotel Cubix

One of the worst hotel I have ever been Not suitable for business stays. The hotel was like kindergarten. I could not sleep because around 20-25 kids were running and playing in the coridor of the hotel all night. And the issue is the responsible person were not around them to take care of them. In my last night I sleep only for few hours after I tell the reception that I am going to call the police because of the noise.

An older Cubix Hotel showing its age. Not a bad place to stay. The accommodating staff took it from 3 stars up to 4 stars. Efficient AC system, rare in Europe. No coffeemaker. Centrally located. I would stay again. Large room with 2 beds. Modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. There was a safe in the room. (pics attached)

Stayed for one night as part of an organised tour in August 2022. We arrived around 8pm after a day of travelling and sightseeing. Check in was quick and we had a twin room on the third floor / top floor. The lifts worked okay or you can take the stairs. Our room was an okay size and had a small balcony too. We had two single twin beds with a good range of cushion / pillow sizes. The room also had a large tv, table underneath and chair, space for luggage and wardrobe with hanging space and safe, plus a fridge / minibar. The air con took a little bit of figuring out but this was probably user error. We can also recommend channel 0184 on the tv (Atomic) for some epic remixes of tunes. The curtains were a little thin and let in quite a bit of light in the morning. We could also hear a little bit of noise from adjacent rooms. The wifi was a bit hit and miss - sometimes really good, sometimes very slow. The bathroom was modern with a shower over the bath (although there only seemed to be a shower fitting so not sure how you’d fill the bath?). They provided some toiletries and the towels were clean and decent. Also good thickness of toilet paper. The hotel is on the edge of town and a few minutes walk from Carrefour and a retail park, plus two McDonalds, but we couldn’t find much else around. Breakfast was good, with the usual hot and cold selection. They also had Prosecco chilled but unopened so that could be an option if you want. Overall a good overnight stay in a modern hotel on the edge of town.
