I went on a self-driving tour to Xiaoqikong and booked a homestay blindly, but I didn’t expect it to be so much better than expected. Since we arrived early, the boss upgraded our room for free.
The overall homestay environment is very clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The room environment is also very clean and there is no peculiar smell.
The boss was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help with the luggage. He also sent us travel itineraries and food.

The lady proprietor of this minsu is very hospitable and responsive. It is clear she works hard to operate the minsu and it is reflected in the standard of cleanliness and hygiene. The towels were all good quality, clean and individually sealed. The dining cutlery too were all sealed in sets. The room was clean and spacious. It had many considerate touch points for convenience and comfort such as the in-room massage chairs, XiaoDu home assistant and a tea-making settee. The breakfast had a good range of options like a buffet which is impressive ! The chef does very decent dinners too. We felt very safe and comfortable staying there for the duration of our trip to Libo Xiaoqikong. Thank you and I wish your business continues to grow and see more overseas guests!

an absolutely perfect stay! super close to the park entrance with prompt shuttle service, attentive and courteous owners who gave great tips on where to eat/ how to approach the park, and incredibly clean and spacious room (we were upgraded to the larger family room since our triple was being cleaned) with modern amenities, a great tea table, and perfect massage chair. we all slept comfortably and breakfast was great. i would recommend this hotel to anyone and looking forward to staying hee again someday!

I just met Awang brother’s sister for three days when I lived in a travel friend. Awang brother directly invited us to eat a three-day family banquet 😂 Every day, we walked with him. His relatives and friends, neighbors, eat, drink and chat, really feel the local customs of the Maolan Buyi people, and also know old Yao Uncle (Awang brother's father), uncle Yuan (Awang brother's uncle, also my guide to explore the cave), old Yao Xiaoyao (Awang brother's uncle and nephew), The guide aunt of the funnel forest (old Yao's wife, Xiao Yao's mother), there are many, although I don't know how to call it, but I take care of us at the dinner table.

Wwissy00I couldn't have asked for better. I was astonished by the service, cleanliness, friendliness, and treatment. All of this at an incredibly low price.
Communicating can be a bit complicated if you don't speak Chinese, as almost no one in this region speaks English. Fortunately, I had someone with me who could. The lovely lady treated us like her own grandchildren and insisted that we eat with her, letting us try typical local dishes. I truly felt at home.
As for the service itself, I was even more surprised. We stayed for two nights, and every day they cleaned the room, changed the towels, provided slippers, a new toothbrush, and a bottle of water. In the evening, she insisted on giving us fruit.
Regarding the location, it's very convenient, as it's just a 10-minute walk from the bus stop that takes you to the main attractions and also to the train station. As a foreign tourist, I highly recommend it!

The right side is all on foot path but it is interesting. So it is the best location to access the provincial park. This hotel was built recently. It has elevator and restaurant, guest can enjoy 20% discount. And food is delicious. They offer breakfast and it is yummy. The owner is very nice and help us to plan the itinerary. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

SScarletTheWandererWe had an incredible stay here. The views from the rooms are incredible and look out to the karst mountains and rice fields below. The rooms were clean, the showers strong and the sheets and bed were comfortable. The check in was simple and easy. Breakfast was a big bowl of fresh noodles. The food was delicious, fresh and very flavourful! The staff were so kind, friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile. The owner went out of his way to help us have the best time during our stay so we could see as much as possible in the park! It’s located right inside the Libo Maolan National Nature Reserve.
Navigating your way there is easy and there is plenty of free parking out front. At night the only sound are the frogs and crickets and it’s so quiet. We saw an incredible darkened sky lit up with stars, the most I’ve seen anywhere in China, you could even see the milky way!
We went on a glorious 7 hour hike and the father was our guide. He was by far the best nature park guide I’ve ever had in my life! He knew so much about the history of the park and all the names and traditional uses of the plants. Was very friendly too! Five hole bridge is only a 10 minute walk from here where you can go for a refreshing and much needed dip after a wonderful day exploring. The owner also drive us to the starting point of Qinglong Waterfalls and it’s wonderful- you can easily walk this riverside straight back to the hotel!
Would really recommend this place for families, couples or friends travelling as it’s just wonderful! Can’t wait to come back and stay again!
