Bluesun Hotel Berulia

The hotel was lovely. Stunning location. We had a sea view which was glorious. All the Staff friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Concierge very helpful. Room also super. Comfy bed. Lovely walk along the stunning sea front for miles. Lots beautiful little harbours with cafes/ bars nearby. Beach great and water so clear. Pools beautiful. Infinite pool overlooks at the sea. Lots of steps but not an issue for us. Glad we went May though as not too busy. Good choice at breakfast, and lots of coffee available. Small gripes. Other than at breakfast you had to pay for water!! Restaurant food at night wasn’t very hot, albeit lots of choice. Wouldn’t like to go in high Season though as you really needed to be in by 8pm to get the full choice at dinner time. Plates not replenished after that. As beach was the hotels area was surprised that you had to pay for sun beds there. Service charge at bar if you paid at the time.Didn’t realise no service charge if you added to room. Iron was available for 30mins or you had to pay!! No issue with that other than maybe word it better. Can you please have it back for other guests within half an hour. No one needs to iron longer on holiday 😂 Jet 2 should have had their info where you could see it. Didn’t know it was there until rep arrived. However small gripes aside we had a great holiday with friends, and would defo return. Maybe gripes will be sorted, especially access to free water.

If you are a hedonist, this hotel is the right place for you. The rooms are perfectly clean and spacious, the beds are extremly comfortable. The food is amazing even if you are quite picky and even if ypu are vegan!!! The chef prepared a special cake just for me at dinner and it was perfect! Dinner terace offers something even better, the most beautiful sunset behind the mountin over the sea. My family and I have been guests for years now and I can say it gets better every year!! Our favourote place for holiday for sure! And last but not least, the staff is so kind despite their huge workload. See you next year Berulia❤️

Stayed here at the end of May and had a lovely week. Breakfast buffet was superb-widest selection of any hotel breakfast and nice to sit outside on the terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Ida who was always available,approachable , friendly and helpful.Beautiful beach area,easily accessible from hotel. Stretch classes in the morning with Doris much appreciated.

Wonderful stay at very relaxing resort. Pools fantastic and beach/views as amazing as it gets. Easy walk to beach bars and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. About 90 mins from Mostar by car for half-day side trip you'll never forget - what a beautiful place.

Why not have extra towels left by staff in the rooms with swim up pools … I don’t want to use my shower towel after using the pool. Also the buffet dinner is not great

Just home after a 9 night stay at Hotel Berulio. Lovely Hotel. Great staff enjoyable food. Very clean etc. Firstly, we had booked a classic room… we didn’t realise that these rooms faced the car park and do not have full balconies just Juliette balconies. The room was lovely but for 9 nights we really wanted a balcony and would have paid the extra had we known beforehand. Luckily the reception staff were able to move us to a beautiful side sea view room. I say luckily as this hotel was pretty much fully booked so we really appreciated that they could accommodate us. Pool areas are lovely… added bonus is you do not need to get up early to reserve a sunbed. They were plentiful all day. Pool towels provided by hotel. For anyone wheelchair bound this hotel is not suitable, I write this as my brother is a wheelchair user and can’t use steps so I always look for these things so just a good to know for anyone with a similar disability. Food at breakfast and in the evening was enjoyable. Plenty of choice. My only slight dissatisfaction was in the evening when trying to order drinks with dinner. There appears to be only a few staff members that can take drinks orders. They are also having to clear plates. You can see how extremely hard they are working… taking orders etc… then having to run to the bar which isnt in the restaurant coming back sorting out the bills etc. All of these staff members work so hard. I would suggest the hotel either employs more staff or uses an electronic system for them to take orders and have drinks brought to the restaurant by extra bar staff. My last mention is the sunbeds on the beach. Blue sun run these and are charging their customers a premium to use them. They cost hotel users the same a the general public. Surely you should give them to guests for free or at a reduced cost. There were hardly any used every day. Would I stay there again though yes I would with a few minor changes.
