"The room was quite cold, with best efforts the radiator could not keep the whole room fully warm. My feet were constantly cold."

"We had clear communication by email before our arrival in London from China. Train delays from Heathrow did not cause a problem for our late arrival (midnight) in Brentwood. An upgraded room gave us a private bathroom was no problem. The breakfast is excellent and great value for both of us. We recommend this Guest House in the strongest manner possible, having extended our stay to four nights."

"Have stayed before and will stay again. Very nice, some rooms can be a little dated but is a personal preference matter, we like them. Staff all very friendly, and that really us all staff from top to bottom, welcoming and helpful."

"Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too"

"Overall good place and location is fantastic. Bedsheets were not as excepted asthere was a stain on one of them but they looked fine and washed."

"A good hotel and up to my expectations. Clean and comfortable. Nice warm shower always. I got a quiet room as requested. But the sound proofing can be improved. I can hear food steps on my upper floor all the time. The coffee, tea and milk were not replenished regularly. Otherwise, all good."
