"Gorgeous hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Fab location and vistas onto the harbour. Handy for transport links too. Good service. Received free upgrade to a Classic Room. Sadly no view except concrete. The bar inside is classy and elegant, outside you could watch the world go by for hours. A very nice Chablis was had."
"The location is okay. I took an Uber until there was a bus station nearby. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, so I asked for it. There were no slippers and a shower cap. I was a bit overwhelmed. The space in the house was small. Breakfast is ok"
"We has to stay at this hotel last minute due to cancelled travel and it was great for us and so convenient to be on site at the airport. Bed was comfortable and shower was spacious. Breakfast included with the price was also really handy and we enjoyed it very much."

"Short weekend weekend trip to Bristol- location of this hotel is great, right in the middle of the city and also only 15 minute walk to Temple Mead station. The hotel exterior is very beautiful and the room was warm and comfortable. "
"The suite is exceptionally clean and so much better than a hotel, you have everything you need to actually relax and cook your own food just like at home, working away this has made a big difference in having the extra facilities."
"Breakfast is very good, bread and fruit juice buffet, as well as a pure English breakfast, free order, taste very good! Drinking tea to tea cups is very exquisite, a breakfast out of a holiday feel! A family of three, asked if they would like an extra bed when they arrive at the hotel? We didn't add it, so we gave us the largest double bed room. The room was not as soundproof as the comment said. Very quiet, right next to the suspension bridge. This is also the hotel we were most satisfied with for a month in Bristol!"
"The hotel is a very old building, somewhat like a B&B, with very old facilities. Old elevators and old room facilities. The rooms are larger, the beds are softer, and they are cleaner! Although the window is small, the bathroom is relatively large with a separate bathtub, shampoo and shower gel! There is a bar downstairs in the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. Please note that the soundproofing in the hotel rooms is very poor. You can hear all the activities in the next room clearly. The noise in the bar at night is also very bad. Affect rest"
"The location is very good, across the road is the law school building, on the top of the famous big uphill, quiet in the noisy, the garden outside the hotel is very comfortable, breakfast is good.
The rooms are relatively small, the facilities are old, and there is no free parking lot."
"Next to the Black Sheep bar and restaurant. The check-in procedure is simple and the room is clean and spacious. It is on the highway and very convenient for travel"

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel and I can confidently say it was an excellent experience. The hotel is beautifully located, offering stunning views of the surrounding area and easy access to local attractions. This hotel provides a wonderful blend of comfort, service, and convenience.

JJitheshNice clean and new hotel. Entrance to the hotel is a bit difficult to find not being from the main road side. Amenities like toothbrush etc are payable, which was a let off. Overall good experience. 🙂
AAlisonGreat location hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast with plenty of choice. Located opposite cabot circus shopping centre with free parking at nearby multi storey.
We had a ok stay in an accessible room that comprised of a double bed and large sofa bed. Room was a little tatty and in need of renovation. Beds were poor, double had sagging mattresses but wasn't uncomfortable and matress on sofa bed was very thin and not very comfortable according to our 18 year old son. Facilities were very good as in plenty of clean towels, toiletries and bottled water, tea, coffee and biscuits.
I would stay again but if I'm honest I did feel it was value for money.
AAnonymous UserThe room was a great size, and the location was really convenient. However, if you have any kind of respiratory issues, DO NOT book this hotel! None of the windows open, and the air smells musty. We had slightly blocked noses due to spring allergies, but breathing in the room felt extremely difficult. The air was also very dry, and we both woke up with NOSEBLEEDS—something neither of us usually experiences. The moment we step out of the hotel, we can breathe normally- thanks to the lovely park nearby. The hotel couldn’t provide any assistance. We survived the London Tube, but this room defeated us.
NNSEJOKERGreat stay as always, Will above and beyond as always such a credit one of the reasons why we love to stay as such a pleasurable experience as always favourite place by far 🥰
Ttravelling loverClean and tidy room services. After Bristol Air Ballon Festive , My family was happy living here with tasty breakfast and good location to reach out high street and town centre in ease. Recommended to visit again .
PPhilip0519I recently stayed at the Ibis Bristol Temple Meads, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience, particularly well-suited for solo travelers. Here's a breakdown of my stay:
**Cleanliness:** The hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness. My room was spotless, and the common areas were consistently tidy, reflecting the staff's commitment to hygiene and guest comfort.
**Convenience for Solo Travelers:** As a solo traveler, I found the accommodation to be more than adequate. The room, although modest in size, was well-organized and equipped with all the essentials, ensuring a comfortable and efficient stay.
**Location:** One of the standout features of the Ibis Bristol Temple Meads is its prime location. Situated conveniently close to Bristol Temple Meads railway station, the hotel offers easy access to public transportation and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
**Parking Facilities:** Another notable advantage is the availability of 24-hour parking nearby. This is a significant benefit for those driving to the city, providing peace of mind and hassle-free parking during your stay.
**Overall:** While the hotel is on the modest side in terms of luxury and extra amenities, it excels in providing a reliable, clean, and convenient lodging option. It's a practical choice for solo travelers looking for a budget-friendly stay with all the necessary comforts and an excellent location in Bristol.
Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Ibis Bristol Temple Meads serves as a solid, no-frills option that delivers on the essentials.
GGuest UserThe staff are helpful and nice. It would be better for the room to have some refurbishment. It needs about 10 minutes walk to reach a small supermarket.

GGuest UserCentrally located. Beautiful old building, with rather strange modern/industrial trusts in rooms. Regular double room was rather tight on space. Bathroom large and great shower. Bit chilly in the evening, an electric heater was provided but did not work. I discovered later that none of the (10!!) plug sockets in the room worked.

GGuest UserWe had the loveliest time here the staff were so lovely and friendly. It was about a 30 minute walk into town and if you are travelling into town at rush hour walking is the best way as the traffic was pretty bad.
The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean and tidy and we were blown away by the service from the staff it really was lovely infact I was shocked to find they were part of a group and not independent as it felt the kind of service you would get from an independent. The bar and restaurants were lovely and the building was so beautiful inside and out we had a really lovely stay toiletries were provided and they smelt beautiful. thanks so much we had a lovely time.
