New Park Manor Hotel - A Luxury Family Hotel

Firstly let me preface this: my husband and I came here years and years ago and loved it then. My first review is on here. I’ve since come here for afternoon tea a bunch of times. We came away for a couples night for a big birthday. Yes, it’s a family hotel, but as parents ourselves we were quite happy to be around children, and with beautiful sunny weather there was lots of space for children to run around and explore nature. The decor has had a facelift since we last came. It’s great. Muted, stylish, a few lovely quirks. The grounds are well maintained and clean. The spa is clean and fresh and facilities all worked, the staff are kind and approachable (I especially liked the blonde woman who served us at breakfast- sorry I didn’t catch her name). The food was great. Dinner especially good. The location is grand too- there are gravel paths that take you to local towns, and there are birds and ponies a plenty. Room is clean, decor again, great. Couldn’t get our phones to cast to the tv but that was probably the worst of it. I loved this hotel in my 20s and 30s…. I love it again in my 40s. Staff are all wonderful, and the hotel feels a little posh without feeling pretentious. Great mix. Will we stay here again? Absolutely. Might even bring our kid next time….

Had an afternoon tea for my nanna's birthday and it was lovely. The hotel is in a beautiful setting. Had gteat service from everyone namely Ella! Manda the hotel manager was very bubbly and helpful too. We will be coming back to try the Sunday roast!

We have just returned from a two night stay at new park manor. We couldn’t fault it, we had an absolutely lovely time and made so many special memories as a family of three. We took our 9 month old and there was plenty to do, the lovely ladies in the crèche do a stay and play which we took her along to, as well as story time every day which she loved (thank you Sophie) as well as the lovely pool. The food was lovely every evening and lots of choice for our little one, everything has been really well thought through and it was so nice to go somewhere where you didn’t feel on edge with the little one as everyone is in the same boat and all the staff in the restaurant were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed in the two bed suite which was done out lovely and had everything we needed. Thank you to Donna on reception for making our stay, she gave us all the information when we arrive and always on hand when we needed anything. We did have a little issue with the heating in our room and she’d sorted it in ten minute with the maintenance men and had taken some money off our bill which was totally unexpected but really showed the amazing customer service and how much they value you returning. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at New Park Manor. It’s the first hotel we’ve been to that is genuinely relaxing with a baby, as everything you need for a child has been thought about. Everyone working there was lovely and always happy to help. Spa and pool are both very high quality and kids can swim at any time. Food is delicious, with a good variety to keep it interesting for a few nights stay. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

Visited with our 2 young children and grandparents at the beginning of January. I’m not going to go in to great detail but all I can say is that our visit was fantastic from the moment we arrived until the morning we left. Top marks for the cleanliness, friendliness of every single member of the staff, quality of the facilities and just the general feeling in the place. The quality of the food and drinks was also excellent quality and the Spa very relaxing (even with a 5 & 3 year old) Many thanks for a very memorable trip

First class in every respect. Delivered exactly as we hoped for our family and children. The adults loved it, the children loved it. The staff were all friendly and efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. Every little detail for a stay with children had been thought out. I have never before stayed somewhere where children were not just tolerated but welcomed with open arms and such kindness. We had a brilliant birthday weekend. Thanks to all. Hope to return.
