We celebrated a family members 80th here having dinner, using the skittle alley and all staying over. We were not disappointed from arrival to checking out. Such lovely rooms beautifully decorated, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Meal was lovely in the evening, spot on presentation and delicious. The skittle alley was great fun a lovely space to celebrate an event again atmosphere was good. Breakfast was delicious and very tasty. Nice to see dogs can stay also what a bonus. We will definitely come back and stay thank you for making an 80th birthday a good one.

The room was very clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you could need. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Central location in Brockenhurst was ideal for walking to all dinner reservations and to the New Forest. Would stay again and recommend to a friend.

New rooms, really nicely done, we even checked where they bought a mirror so we could get one for home ! Teething problem with the plumbing was sorted out the next day with a smile! Perfect for a break in the New Forest, with a great breakfast to send us on our way.

Place was OK, room was cold due to the radiator not working, given the temp outside it made it a little unpleasant. When asked the next day if everything was ok, I let them know. I think a sincere apology and offer of a discounted stay might have helped but it felt a little dismissive. Breakfast was good.

We like to stay in "Pubs with Rooms" and this is one of the better ones. We had a feature room, which on reflection, was a good choice but in the older part of the hotel with limited headroom for someone over 6 feet tall, the shower could have been better. :-) We had an excellent dinner, and excellent lunch and two very substantial breakfasts during our stay. The management are building a good team, and we had very attentive and professional service. In short, we really like the vibe, and the managers relaxed but hands on approach. We hope to be back later in the year.

Lovely service, rooms, food and location. We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Felt well looked after and was in a great location. Would definitely stay here again. The rooms were really cosy and modern and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend staying here

Had a three nights stay with our two dogs. It was excellent in every way and the stable rooms are amazing. Very large bed and lots of space. The linen and towels were of top quality. The hosts were very nice and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we went into the hotel. The dogs were made very welcome and were allowed everywhere including the restaurant.
