The garage can be accessed by the keypad provided out front. There is parking on the street in front of the house. They sit side-by-side on just over two cliffside acres overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean.We did not plan on being vacation rental hosts - it just sort of happened - but we are glad it did because we are always delighted to share these amazing properties with our guests.I had recently retired from a job in the medical field and Patrick had sold his large real estate office when, in March of 2019, we found the coastal property we now live in while on a road trip through Southern Oregon.The house that is now our home had been on the market 5 years as part of an estate sale & it needed a lot of work, but we loved it the moment we saw it. **We made the best offer we could afford and our offer was accepted! The separate guesthouse that came with it became our first vacation rental .Then in 2022 our elderly & very kind next-door neighbor, a widower, decided to move to Portland to be with family. His circa 1950 house also needed a lot of work. We were experienced hosts at that point and we knew the location and layout were absolutely perfect for another vacation rental . **So Patrick worked out a deal with the owner and we bought it. Then we put in granite counter tops, tiled showers, redwood decks, heated floors, bigger windows and much more.Our objective was to create a magical space where people can come to relax in quiet comfort with lots of privacy & stunning ocean views.
