Eine Budget alternative, die ganz in Ordnung ist Das Hotel ist etwas veraltet, das Zimmer selber war aber besser als erwartet. Die Minibar Preise sind ganz fair. Das Umbegung ist nicht das beste/schönste, aber für eine Nacht ganz ok. Wenn man das Zimmer neben den Treppen hat, hört man wieder alles.

Gastlichkeit im besten Sinne Selbst eine zu frühe Anreise - genauer gesagt, einen ganzen Tag zu früh- brachte den zu diesem Zeitpunkt diensthabenden Geschäftsführer, Herrn Müller, nicht aus der Ruhe, und ich konnte nach einer wirklich langen Anreise ohne Probleme einchecken, obwohl das Hotel gut ausgelastet zu sein schien. Zudem war mein Zimmer angenehm ruhig und komfortabel ausgestattet. Nicht übertrieben, sondern gerade für eine Dienstreise genau richtig. Ebenso wichtige Punkte sind der eigene Parkplatz und nicht zuletzt das reichhaltige Frühstück. Bin immer noch rundum zufrieden.

Für den Preis kann man mehr erwarten Einfaches Hotel und für den gebotenen Standard eigentlich zu teuer. Hellhörig, Fernseher mit schlechter Bildqualität, Wifi war nicht zu gebrauchen. Frühstück war gut, Parkplätze in ausreichender Anzahl vor der Tür

Nice stay but out of the way Stayed here for the England game in cologne. The hotel was decent. Room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Check in was done via a door buzzer which was new to me, but no issues at all and easy enough to figure out. I didn’t have breakfast but there is a buffet from roughly 6:30am to 9:30am. There was no noise from other rooms and the hotel doesn’t have a bar or music. Do bear in mind this hotel is situated in an industrial area and away from any restaurants/bars or houses. The businesses shut at normal working hours so there’s no issue with noise, in fact it’s incredibly quiet at night because no one is around. This hotel is much better for those who are driving as it is linked to a main road and has a big, free car park. If you are using public transport, like I did, the Brühl-Vochem tram station is closest. It is 20min walk and the route is very easy, albeit down a main road. Trams to and from cologne centre are every 20 mins and it takes roughly 45mins to get to the main station. The nearest train station is Brühl-Kierberg. Takes 15 mins from cologne centre but is a 40mim walk from there. Nearest train station is 15-20 min walk and has trams to cologne centre every 20mins. The only things nearby are a McDonald’s and, randomly, an ‘erotica’ club at the top of the road. Overall good stay, but it is more of an overnight stop hotel for those travelling, not for tourism.
