This was my second visit to this hotel. Maison Bistro is a lovely establishment. It is cute and stylish. The location is perfect to wander on foot in the Buda Castle district. The staff is professional, efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and very well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and various options à la carte were available too. We also enjoyed a nice diner menu that was offered for an affordable price to onboard guests. The meal was well presented and every dish very yummy. I would definitely recommend this place to any traveller who is looking forward to have a special experience in Budapest.

The location of the hotel is great. It is located on the bank of the Blue Danube, between the Parliament Building and the Chain Bridge. It is not far from the main attractions and is within walking distance. Although the room is next to the road, the sound insulation is very good and you can't hear much noise at night. Our room was on the first floor and had a view of the Parliament Buildings, although the electric poles on the roadside somewhat blocked the view. The hotel staff are all friendly and welcoming, greeting you with a smile. Breakfast is also good. The restaurant is small but very cozy. You can also order delicious freshly made eggs a la carte. Parking needs to be reserved in advance. The garage is right behind the hotel and is easy to find. Speaking of parking, it is necessary to talk about our experience. When we drove away after checking out, we needed to reverse out of the garage and turn onto the road. However, there were vehicles parked on the side of the road at the entrance of the garage. It was difficult to see the road behind the car when we reversed and turned. Although I reversed very slowly, unfortunately, the car As soon as the rear corner entered the road, it was hit by a car speeding from behind. Fortunately, no one on either side was injured and the damage to the vehicle was minimal. I say this to remind latecomers that if you drive out of this garage onto the road, it is very necessary to ask the person in the car to get out of the car and direct the reverse from behind! In particular, I would like to praise the hotel staff, a young and handsome man, who gave us great help. After the car collided, I called 112 and called the police. While waiting for the police to arrive, this staff member discovered that we had been involved in a traffic accident, and took the initiative to ask and help us. He repeatedly comforted me verbally, called 112 to inquire about the arrival time of the police, and helped us find and print relevant documents on the car in advance. After arriving at the scene, he helped us translate and communicate and negotiate with the police. With his help, we successfully obtained the traffic accident report. We occupied him for a long time during the entire process and I wanted to thank him, but he just said it was his job and no thanks were needed. This makes us very touched! This hotel is definitely our only choice next time we come to Budapest!

Convenient hotel, very reasonable price, not far from the main station of Line 2 subway station, it should be within five minutes on foot, there is a prima supermarket behind, convenient for replenishment. There are no food stores nearby. But if you are willing to take a subway stop, there is also a bustling commercial district. It is about ten to fifteen minutes' walk from Fisherman's Bastion, which is also acceptable. The structure has a convenient location because it is close enough to tram and metro stops, about ten minutes walk from the Ponte delle Corde and some restaurants. It is a beautiful building, in a clean and elegant area. Inside, in the reception, the environment is very welcoming and furnished in a modern way. The common spaces are also bright, well decorated. The room is essential, quite small in size, pleasantly furnished with beautiful fixtures capable of isolating from external noise. The bathroom is modern, has a well-structured walk-in shower in which the rest of the room hardly gets wet. The staff is very kind and helpful, they immediately responded to our requests even when the request was to change our room due to a persistent unpleasant smell. But let's move on to the weak points, because unfortunately the hotel has potential that is currently unexpressed. First of all, it could be much cleaner: the corridor had several crumbs and food residues on the carpet, during our four day stay it was never completely cleaned. The carpet in our room had several stains - an unfortunate choice for long-pile carpet in a hotel room - so I never felt comfortable walking barefoot. Secondly, evidently the monastery was not built with air exchange principles, so there is a stagnant air in the entire structure that you can smell when you return to the room. After having to change rooms due to a strong musty smell, we had to air out the new one every night before going to sleep. The same in the stairs. Last point, breakfast. Decent in choice and good in quality, but not worth the cost.

We stayed here on our 1st nite before a river cruise, we had a great room on the 6th floor over looking the River Danube with views of the beautiful Parliament building - can't complain. Although the room was very modern, the carpet was quite stained, there was a lot of thick dust on the ledge over the bed and under TV consul and also the toilet seat was quite stained and not up the usual 4 * standard. We also stayed 1 night after the river cruise room 123 Same stained carpet, filthy remote control, and a lot of ant like bugs on bedclothes and furniture, which we showed to reception. The hotel is on the mountain, next to Fisherman's Bastion. When I checked into the hotel, I thought it would be inconvenient to get to the city. I didn't expect that not only would I be able to see the church as soon as I left the hotel every day, but I would also be able to walk more than 100 meters to the 16/16A bus, which runs until 12 o'clock every day, so I didn't have to worry about going up and down the mountain. If you want to be the first to seize the invincible sunrise at Fisherman's Bastion, then choosing this hotel is the right choice. It only takes 8 to 10 minutes to walk. It's also very convenient to go to the Budapest Castle. You don't have to go down the mountain. You can get to the castle in two or three bus stops because it is parallel to the Fisherman's Bastion. The room is not big and it is a bit stressful to open two luggages. The breakfast is average and there are few categories. But the food in the hotel's restaurant is very good. Reservation required. There is no socket on the dressing table. You need to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The partition glass is very narrow. Every time I take a shower, the bathroom floor is filled with water. I don't like these two things.

The location is very good, three to five minutes walk from the Fisherman's Castle. Buda Castle area is not as convenient as Pace. It is recommended to live in Pace. The hotel is located on the Buda side of the Szechenyi Chain Bridge, on a small hill at the foot of the Buda Castle. The room is beautiful! And there is an exclusive private area, but the main building is a 17th century monument, it is half a reserved area, so there is no elevator, the luggage is not friendly, and the air-conditioning is very weak, so if it is a friend who is afraid of heat or a friend who wants to come in summer, you can avoid it. But winter is very suitable, it is a romantic room! Breakfast is also paid, no extra payment! The experience is great except for being too hot!
