BALTAZÁR Boutique Hotel

I broke my tradition of booking a room in the city center, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Baltazár is located in the Castle District of Budapest, so if you arrive by car, you’ll need to pass through the barrier at the castle gate. I actually saw this as a plus — it made me feel like my car was in a secure location. I traveled with my two dogs, and the hotel welcomed them without any objections — a rare exception in Budapest, or even in Hungary. What’s more, when it turned out that the booking site had incorrectly stated that the pet fee was included in the room price, the hotel didn’t charge me. That’s what I call excellent customer focus. I was even able to choose the room I preferred. It was spacious, cozy, and high-class — a perfect blend of comfort and style. You can really tell that attention to detail matters here. Breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate, but we decided to enjoy a slow, easy morning and try it anyway. No regrets — it was delicious and abundant.

The room is nicely decorated and is very clean. My family (4 of us) had a wonderful stay at this quiet spot on the Pest side of the city. The breakfast is great with the lovely outdoor seating. The Manager, Andrew, was extremely helpful when our train travel got canceled on the morning of our departure. Andrew helped us speak to the train company and found an alternative for our travel. With the language barrier, without Andrew's help, we would have been in big trouble. He saved our day. Thank you, Andrew.

My unforgettable experience at the balthazar from the 17th june was a incredible time.so it deserves a special review. I contacted them that I will arrive 3 hours earlier than check inn time.when I arrived the Suite was already ready.the hotel manager brought me to the Suite and showed me everything.i was absolutely stunned by this superb styled suite.everything was on the highest level..the bed, the beautiful bathroom feat tube, the rest you can see on the photos which I will add. The location is perfect managed Special thanks to andre,daniel and andri What a well manged property ..the great employees made my stay even more special. Especially thank for the early check in and late check out. Will i come back? 100% in August or september..defiantly one of the best hotels I ever stayed ..and I stayed in hundreds of hotels the last years. So all I can tell you again: i am glad that I have choosen the balthazar hotel. Looking forward to be back rhe next months C

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms are very cosy and the bed is super comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, especially if taken in the terrace enjoying the sun. Location in the castle district is great. Very good restaurants around (including the one in the hotel).
